Here is the Third of a series of interviews that we will be conducting with the authors that post their work on Celebrity Story Site.

In this interview, we are talking to HearszAm about how he got into writing celebrity erotica, who influenced him to write in this genre and other topics related to his writing.

1. Where are you from?

Queensland, Australia

2. How did you come up with your pen name and is there any meaning behind it?

It’s a play on words of my surname and the initials of my first and last name.

3. How long have you been writing celebrity erotic fiction?

I started writing stuff off and on about 15-16 years ago, but I didn’t publish any of my work until late 2013.

4. Who or What got you started writing erotic fiction?

When we first got proper internet in Australia in the late 90s, I discovered a site (which doesn’t exist anymore) called fantasy.tv that had several celebrity erotica stories in there at the time. I was a little obsessed with the stories that they had, so I’d tried to write my own versions or I’d exchange celebs in other writers stories for ones I preferred more.

5. Who would you say are your biggest influences as a writer of less than appropriate celeb fiction? Which authors, if any, would have inspired you?

None in particular. I remember early on being intrigued by stories that were “Hypnosis” themed, where the main character could control what the celebrity says and does. I was never really interested in stories by writers that were really hardcore, or didn’t have much variety in who or what they wrote about. But over time I’ve been more open to various fetishes which I’d include into my stories if it seemed to fit.

6. Who are your favourite celeb sex story writers? Past and Present.

Again, no one specifically, but there’s specific stories by authors that are among my all-time favourites.

SammyColt wrote in my opinion the best Jessica Alba story there is out there - his “Diving” series, Part 2 especially.  I’ll forever be hoping I could write one as fantastic as that one.

Muhabba wrote a couple of stories I really like, one especially about Chloe Moretz.

RobertDoc is another writer who was always great at not focusing on the same kinds of celebs over and over again. With his style of writing, he wrote his celeb fiction in much more extended detail compared to most, and you could tell by reading any of his stories that they were really well crafted and well thought out before a word was even typed.

And probably the best “tease” story with a long build up was another 3-part story called “Niece and Easy” with Victoria Justice, by a writer known as Jude.

7. Any favourite sex stories that you've read that made you think - "Wow! That's incredible!"

Probably the ones by SammyColt and Muhabba I aforementioned above. Any story that makes you read it over and over again, and then again several years later, is what you yourself regard as a classic. It could be for your own personal reasons, tastes, fetishes etc.

8. Which of your own stories are you the most proud of writing?

I wrote a lot of stories about Ariel Winter, and of the fifteen or so that I dedicated to her, I’d say I was happy with maybe 10 of those. The other five I wish I could have my time over with again, as they seemed a bit rushed in hindsight. But it’s all part of the learning process.

A writer named “MrBlonde” and I co-wrote a two part story about Jessica Alba called “Pure Shores” which I’m really proud of (and I’ll post up soon), because we both put so much effort into it, and we tried to make it seem like a real story that could’ve happened. We took time to learn about the location for where it’s set (Patong in Thailand), and we based it around her filming on the set of “Mechanic: Resurrection (2016)”, which is part of “The Transporter” series featuring Jason Statham.

And lastly, it took a long while to happen, but a few years ago I finally managed to write a story about Kate Beckinsale called “Tie Your Mother Down”, named after a popular Queen song. I’m quite proud of that one and I’ve always been fascinated by the older woman, younger man scenario. With this one, the younger man in this story gets dumped by Kate’s daughter Lily, and Kate comes onto him after they have a few drinks together.

9. Which celebrities do you enjoy writing about the most?

Ariel Winter, Jessica Alba, Chloe Moretz.

I think if I’d started writing when I first took an interest in celeb fiction, then I probably would’ve written a lot more stories for the likes of Elisha Cuthbert, Jewel, Kelly Brook, the Baywatch girls etc.

I find that models (like Victoria Secret models for instance) are incredibly difficult to write about because to me, they have really boring personalities compared to other kinds of celebrities, especially when they’re outside that world of glamour and the numerous photoshoots.

I did a story for Candice Swanepoel a few years ago, but that wasn’t an easy one to write, haha.

10. What type of sex scenes do you enjoy writing the most?

Any that are somewhat forbidden like cheating or revenge on a partner or an ex-partner story. I find them to be more intense, or risqué and therefore more interesting that others that I read. The thrill of being caught by another always makes for a great sex scene.

Incest seem to have become a more favoured fetish for the same reasons. Adult videos showing fictitious scenes between step-relations on adult porn sites has grown more popular over the past few years, probably helped by shows like “Game of Thrones” no doubt.

11. Do you have routine for how and when you write?

You have to know how it’s starts and how it’s going to end before you start. Beginning a story I always found really difficult because you have to draw in your reader within the first one hundred words. Having a popular lead celebrity is handy, but not essential. But I never write a story just because of how popular a celebrity is. I write about whoever has my interest at that time.

Sometimes my stories would take weeks or even months to complete because of writers block or not being satisfied by what I’d come up with. And other times I’d be so inspired that I could write a story within two nights.

The Maria Sharapova story “She’s Got Legs” that I wrote took two or three sessions to write. Sometimes you’re on it, sometimes you’re not!

12. Do you sketch out a plan on paper/word/notes or write off the cuff with a basic idea and let it flow from there?

With what I’m doing now, which is writing the story for an online visual novel called “Melody” by MrDotsGames, we have a spreadsheet with one line each for a scene idea. And in the comments box for them we’ll have a full on description for what happens in those scenes.

I also have a white board at home where I’ve written the relationship pathways for each female character, and how their particular path could or will end. That sometimes changes though as the story progresses.

When I used to write celebrity stories, I would write ideas or lines down in the Notepad on my phone and then if I liked the idea the next day, it would be included in whatever story I was working on.

13. Apart from hot celebrities, does anything else influence your writing? Music, Fashion, TV etc.

One of my other passions is definitely music. Before I stopped writing celeb stories a couple of years ago, I used to title my stories by a somewhat popular song or album, just for my own amusement.

e.g. “In the Cold, Cold Night” with Olivia Wilde is a White Stripes song.

14. Any projects you are working on that you are excited about?

As I mentioned above, I’ve been working on visual novels with a creator/developer named MrDots. I took an interest in his first game “Dating My Daughter” in early 2017, and when it started to get pretty popular, he asked fans and followers at the time if they would like to help him write some scenes, supply some scene ideas and to proofread the scripts. He was doing all of that when he began, as well as rendering and coding the game by himself. So he knew that it was becoming too much work for one person.

With my four years of writing celebrity fiction, I messaged him to see if he’d like my help, and I sent him a link to some of my stories. Initially I offered to be a proofreader for him. But after reading my work, he somehow convinced me to write some scenes for him. Over time, he got rid of most of the other writers and now I write for him full-time and it’s my full-time job!

As I mentioned earlier, one of my passions has always been music, and our second VN “Melody” is a music-themed story. It was something that I really pushed for when we were coming up with ideas for what was to be our next game which was released in early 2018.

15. Any tips for readers that may want to start writing celebrity erotic fiction?

Write about who you’re interested in and what you’re passionate about. Write about your favourite fetishes. But before you start, read a heap of other stories from other writers. This will help you get an idea of what you want and don’t want in your story, or at least what you would like to see featured. You learn more that way.

Don’t be worried too much if your story gets a lot of feedback or none at all. I would always say to others to write for yourself first, and if people like it then great. And if they don’t, then go and write another one! Just like anything in life, you have to enjoy what you do. Writing stories about celebrities you’re into or you’re infatuated with is you putting yourself in the shoes of the main character, and being able to play out your fantasy with the celeb in question.

Learn as much about the celebrity you’re going to write about - age, height, weight, eye or hair colour, interests, who they’ve dated, where they’re originally from, what movies or shows they’ve been in, are their parents famous. All these little things contribute to the story being more believable for the reader.

Think about how you would act, and how they would react. Think about the theme of your story. Is it a romance, a thriller, an action movie, a horror or a comedy?

Most importantly, proofread and spell check your stories. There’s nothing worse than reading a story littered with bad English. And if English isn’t your first language, then ask someone you trust to proofread it for you before you post it up online.

That in itself shows that care about what you’re writing and that you’re not in a rush to get it out there for others to read.
And use pictures to bring the story to life!

Some of the best stories I’ve read have been from writers who post pictures of a celeb in a dress, bikini or lingerie right before
the part that they are writing about. That kind of thing helps to put you in the moment.

All the best, HearszAM
