Let's see how the ping-pong balls change the future.  The Rockets, Magic and Pistons have the best odds at landing the top pick in the 2022 NBA draft lottery, which is on right now.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  It's things like this that make me hate tanking.  The Magic won the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft lottery.  The Thunder, Rockets and Kings rounded out the Top 4.

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second, we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
It’s in the stars
It’s been written in the scars on our hearts
That we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
Just give me a reason

Here we go again.  The Celtics and Heat are meeting in the Eastern Conference finals for the second time in three years.  Game 1 is on now.  Updates to come.

The Heat beat the Celtics, 118-107.

They are officially back.  The Warriors took the West by riding Klay Thompson’s historic night from three to defeat the Mavericks, 120-110, in Game 5 to advance to the NBA Finals.

He was a smart player and should do well as a coach, though I wish it was with another team.  According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Lakers hired former Bucks assistant coach Darvin Ham as their head coach.

I do not need to stress the importance of this game, do I?  The Celtics are playing the Heat in Game 7 with an NBA Finals date with the Warriors at strake in this win-or-go-home game in Miami.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Needless to say, I am unhappy right now.  The Celtics are going to the NBA Finals as Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown combined for 50 points in a 100-96 win against the Heat, setting up a matchup with the Warriors beginning on Thursday in San Francisco.

The end starts now.  The Celtics are playing the Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  I am less than thrilled about how this series has begun.  The Celtics won Game 1 of the NBA Finals, 120-108, over the Warriors by making nine three-pointers in the fourth quarter, the most in a fourth quarter in Finals history.

This feels like a big game to get momentum back.  The Warriors are looking to bounce back from their first home loss of the playoffs as they face the Celtics in Game 2.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  This series is all knotted up again.  The Warriors got the split by dominating the Celtics, 107-88, to even the NBA Finals at 1-1.

Who is about to take back the momentum?  Stephen Curry and the Warriors are heading to Boston to take on the Celtics in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Pardon me if I seem nervous right now.  Three starters scored 24 points or more as the Celtics beat the Warriors, 116-100, in Game 3 to go up, 2-1, in the Finals.

Can this series be saved or will one of the great franchises move to one win away from another title?  The Celtics are looking to take a 3-1 series lead as the host Stephen Curry and the Warriors in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  When the chef is cooking, stay out of the kitchen.  Curry has 33 points as the Warriors lead the Celtics, 79-78, entering the fourth quarter.

UPDATE 2:  Let Chef Steph cook!  Curry scored 43 points to lead the Warriors to a a win over the Celtics, 107-97, to even the NBA Finals at 2-2.

Just one more win to go and the title is back at the Bay.  The Warriors took a pivotal Game 5 by pulling away in the fourth quarter to beat the Celtics, 104-94, and take a 3-2 series lead in the NBA Finals.

Is Dub Nation going to celebrate tonight?  The Celtics are trying to force Game 7 in the NBA Finals against the Warriors, who could win their fourth title in the past eight years.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  We are 12 minutes away from crowning a champion.  The Warriors are leading the Celtics, 76-66, after the third quarter as the Celtics try to force Game 7.

UPDATE 2:  Somebody play “Good Feeling” by Flo Rida!  The Warriors defeated the Celtics, 103-90, in Game 6 to win their fourth NBA title in the past eight seasons.  The Warriors’ Stephen Curry had 34 points.

Congrats to the Warriors. They wanted it more!

Steph has cemented his place as an all time great. One of the revolutionary players who changed the game. Players like that only come every 20 years.
