Big day last night in the NBA, so let's do a quick recap of the excitement.

The Heat beat the Pacers, 109-100.
The Rockets beat the Thunder, 111-98.
The Bucks beat the Magic, 111-96.
The Timberwolves won the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft lottery.
The Lakers beat the Trail Blazers, 111-88.
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second, we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
It’s in the stars
It’s been written in the scars on our hearts
That we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
It’s in the stars
It’s written in the scars on our hearts
That we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again

The real world is penetrating the bubble.  According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Bucks have decided to boycott Game 5 against the Magic in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Let's see how long this break will last.  The NBA announced that tonight's Magic vs. Bucks, Thunder vs. Rockets and Trail Blazers vs. Lakers Game 5's are postponed in light of the Bucks' boycott.

No games tonight because we need to observe more important issues, but it looks like the wait won't last much longer.  According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the NBA's players have decided to resume the playoffs.

Good news, everyone!  The NBA announced the playoffs will resume on Saturday in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., and the league committed to working with players on several social justice initiatives.

It is games like these that make the postseason so exciting.  Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz are playing Jamal Murray and the Nuggets in Game 7.  Murray has 142 points in the past three games.  Mitchell is averaging 38.7 PPG in the series.  Updates to come.

The Nuggets, beat the Jazz, 80-78, to advance and play the Clippers beginning on Thursday in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Uh-oh, the deer are in trouble.  Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo won't return to Game 4 against the Heat after reinjuring his right ankle in the second quarter.  Updates to come.

The Bucks beat the Heat, 118-115, in overtime.

Hard to believe after this year, this relationship is over.  According to Adrian Wojnarowski, head coach Billy Donovan won't return to the Thunder next season as the sides decided against pursuing an extension.

What an exciting night this should be.  The NBA playoffs are back from a day off with a huge doubleheader with the Heat playing the Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals.  At 9 p.m. the Nuggets will face the Clippers in Game 7.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  It all comes down to this.  Nikola Jokić and the Nuggets are facing Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers in Game 7.  The Clippers are seeking their first Western Conference finals appearance.  The Nuggets have completed 15-point comebacks in two straight games.

The Heat beat the Celtics, 117-114, in overtime.
The Nuggets beat the Clippers, 104-89, to advance and play the Lakers beginning on Friday in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Just popping in to say fuck the Clippers!

We heard all summer long how they were some unbeatable juggernaut for signing Kawhi, Paul George and were coached by the only coach with multiple blown 3-1 playoff series leads.

I have to wonder, did Ballmer pay the media to hype them up like this? Cause all through the regular season they did not look like they were unbeatable and then they choke hard in the playoffs. And they were one of the most unbearable, arrogant teams in recent memory. From the marketing campaign to them being hyped up non-stop in the sports media, to the players themselves talking like they already had won the Finals when this team has never made it past the 2nd round.

Playoff P with 10 points and Kawhi with 14 in an elimination game. BEST DUO EVER.

And LOL at Kawhi for saying the Raptors roster was not good enough to repeat. He looked at that roster, saw all those playmakers and figured nah, give me Paul George instead.

Good riddance!

What a thriller tonight in Lake Buena Vista!  The Lakers' Anthony Davis called game and hit the game-winning three-pointer as time expired to give the Lakers a commanding 2-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals and a 105-103 win over the Nuggets.

Well, I hate this!  The Lakers advanced to the NBA Finals with a 117-107 win over the Nuggets.  The Lakers' LeBron James had 38 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists and the team will be making its NBA-best 32nd Finals appearance.  The Nuggets' Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokić had 39 points combined.

The Heat is on!  The Heat advanced to the NBA Finals with a 125-113 win over the Celtics.  The Heat are making their first NBA Finals appearance since 2014 and will face LeBron James and the Lakers beginning on Wednesday in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., while Bam Adebayo had 32 points and 14 rebounds.

I'm a little surprised by this.  According to Adrian Wojnarowski, head coach Doc Rivers is out with the Clippers after their exit in the Western Conference semifinals.

In a big day of sports, we have the final chase toward a title.  Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Heat and Lakers is tonight.  The Lakers’ LeBron James will make his 10th Finals appearance and will be the second MVP to play his old team in the Finals.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  My, how the turn tables.  The Lakers lead the Heat, 65-48, at the half.  The Lakers trailed by as many as 13, have made 11 three-pointers and James has nine points, six rebounds and seven assists.  The Heat’s Jimmy Butler has 16 points and four assists.

UPDATE 2:  I hope this is the eighth time.  The Lakers ran away with a 116-98 Game 1 win over the Heat.  The Lakers are 62-7 in series after a Game 1 win in Minneapolis Lakers/Los Angeles Lakers history and James had 25 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists.
