This could change the face of the series and maybe the entire playoffs.  According to Ramona Shelburne and Brian Windhorst, the Clippers' Kawhi Leonard is expected to miss Game 5 against the Jazz due to a right knee injury and could be out for the rest of the series.  Updates to come.

The Clippers beat the Jazz, 119-111.

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second, we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
It’s in the stars
It’s been written in the scars on our hearts
That we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again

I just feel like he never really got a chance.  According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Andrew Lopez, Stan Van Gundy is out as the Pelicans' head coach after one season.

It's the end of an era in Dallas.  According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Rick Carlisle told Mavericks owner Mark Cuban that Carlisle will not return next season as head coach.

I hate that Boston got the better end of this deal by bringing one of the better players from the past.  According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Celtics are trading point guard Kemba Walker, the No. 16 pick in the 2021 draft and a future pick to the Thunder for center Al Horford, center Moses Brown and a pick.

This has the makings of a classic series.  The Clippers are playing the Pacific rival Suns in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals.  The Suns’ Devin Booker has 27.9 points per game this offseason.  The Clippers’ Paul George has 32.5 points per game in the last two games.  Updates to come.

The Suns beat the Clippers, 120-114.

As stupid as I know tanking is, I feel like a Top 3 pick, let alone No. 1, would have made this season worth it for the Pistons.  The NBA Draft Lottery is on now.  The Rockets, Pistons and Magic have the best odds.  There are historically strong Top 5 prospects.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Praised be the ping-pong balls!  The Pistons won the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft Lottery.  The Rockets, Cavaliers and Raptors round out the Top 4.

Did that game take your breath away?  The Suns won Game 2 on an alley-oop as Deandre Ayton flushed the winning dunk off an inbounds pass with less than a second left in a 104-103 win against the Clippers.

Mr. Big Shot has a new title.  According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Clippers assistant coach Chauncey Billups reached an agreement on a five-year deal to become the new head coach of the Trail Blazers.

For one the most respected stars in the game, this his best chance at playing for a title.  The Clippers are playing the Suns in Game 5.  The Suns lead the West finals, 3-1, and Chris Paul is seeking his first NBA Finals appearance.  The Clippers are 14-12 without Kawhi Leonard this year.  Updates to come.

The Clippers beat the Suns, 116-102, to force Game 6 on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

This does not bode well for Atlanta.  According to Malika Andrews and Adrian Wojnarowski, the Hawks’ Trae Young was ruled out for Game 4 tonight against the Bucks due to a deep bone bruise in his left foot.  Updates to come.

The Hawks beat the Bucks, 110-88.

Will this series continue or will it come to an end?  The Clippers are playing the Suns in Game 6.  The Suns lead the West finals, 3-2, and can make their first Finals appearance since 1993.  Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue is 10-2 in elimination games.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  I am sure that somewhere, Cade is happy that this series is over.  The Suns defeated the Clippers, 130-103, in Game 6 behind 41 points from Chris Paul to advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1993.

Can we please have a healthy superstar in this series?  The Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo is out for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals due to a hyperextended left knee.  Updates to come.

The Bucks beat the Hawks, 123-112.

I don't know about you, but I'm rooting for Chris Paul to get a ring. He's already a first ballot Hall of Famer, but having a ring will put him in the pantheon of all time greats. I think he's paid his dues after so many championship runs fell short due to bad luck injuries.

Is there anybody left standing to play the Suns?  The Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo was ruled out of Game 6 against the Hawks as the Bucks look to clinch a berth in the NBA Finals.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  I'm predicting we get Game 7.  According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Malika Andrews, the Hawks' Trae Young, who has a bone bruise in his right foot, will play against the Bucks in Game 6.

UPDATE 2:  I was wrong and the stage is set.  The Bucks defeated the Hawks, 118-107, in Game 6 to advance to their first NBA Finals since 1974.  Game 1 against the Suns is on Tuesday in Phoenix.
