Now is the time to get your pencils and fill out your brackets.  The men's NCAA tournament bracket is being revealed.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Will one of these teams be the one that cuts down the nets?  The No. 1 seeds are 29-5 Alabama in the South Region, 27-7 Kansas in the West Region, 29-5 Purdue in the East Region and 31-3 Houston in the Midwest Region.  The Jayhawks will play Howard on Thursday in Des Moines, Iowa.  The Crimson Tide will play on Thursday in Birmingham, Ala., against the winner of Tuesday's game in Dayton, Ohio, between Southeast Missouri State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.  The Cougars will play Northern Kentucky on Thursday in Birmingham, Ala.  The Boilermakers will play on Friday in Columbus, Ohio, against the winner of Wednesday's game in Dayton, Ohio, between Fairleigh Dickinson and Texas Southern.  This comes as the No. 1 Crimson Tide beat No. 2 Texas A&M, 82-63; the No. 1 Cougars were upset by No. 2 Memphis, 75-65; and the No. 1 Boilermakers beat No. 10 Penn State, 67-65.

UPDATE 2:  Might as well post the rest of the NCAA Tournament schedule while I still have the energy.  Pittsburgh will play Mississippi State on Tuesday in Dayton, Ohio, with the winner playing Iowa State on Friday in Greensboro, N.C.  Nevada will play Arizona State on Wednesday in Dayton, Ohio, with the winner playing TCU on Friday in Denver.  West Virginia will play Maryland on Thursday in Birmingham, Ala.  Furman will play Virginia on Thursday in Orlando, Fla.  Utah State will play Missouri on Thursday in Sacramento, Calif.  College of Charleston will play San Diego State on Thursday in Orlando, Fla.  Princeton will play Arizona on Thursday in Sacramento, Calif.  Illinois will play Arkansas on Thursday in Des Moines, Iowa.  Auburn will play Iowa on Thursday in Birmingham, Ala.  Oral Roberts will play Duke on Thursday in Orlando, Fla.  Colgate will play Texas on Thursday in Des Moines, Iowa.  Boise State will play Northwestern on Thursday in Sacramento, Calif.  Louisiana will play Tennessee on Thursday in Orlando, Fla.  The Nittany Lions will play Texas A&M on Thursday in Des Moines, Iowa.  UNC Asheville will play UCLA on Thursday in Sacramento, Calif.  USC will play Michigan State on Friday in Columbus, Ohio.  Kennesaw State will play Xavier on Friday in Greensboro, N.C.  UC Santa Barbara will play Baylor on Friday in Denver.  VCU will play Saint Mary's on Friday in Albany, N.Y.  Vermont will play Marquette on Friday in Columbus, Ohio.  NC State will play Creighton on Friday in Denver.  Iona will play UConn on Friday in Albany, N.Y.  Providence will play Kentucky on Friday in Greensboro, N.C.  Drake will play Miami (Fla.) on Friday in Albany, N.Y.  Grand Canyon will play Gonzaga on Friday in Denver.  Florida Atlantic will play Memphis on Friday in Columbus, Ohio.  Montana State will play Kansas State on Friday in Greensboro, N.C.  Kent State will play Indiana on Friday in Albany, N.Y.

Jay Bilas, you are a brave human being and I can't wait to see if you are right.  The man predicted the outcome of every game in the NCAA Tournament and the last team standing wound up being UConn.

There's the first big upset of the tournament!  JP Pegues became a No. 13 Furman legend after cashing in a three-pointer to kick off March Madness and upset No. 4 Virginia, 68-67, in the men's first round.  The Paladins will play San Diego State on Saturday in Orlando, Fla.

The glass slipper fits!  No. 15 Princeton upset No. 2 Arizona, 59-55, in the men's first round.  The Wildcats are the first team to lose a 2-seed twice in the round of 64.  Princeton will play Missouri on Saturday in Sacramento, Calif.

It happened again!  No. 16 Fairleigh Dickinson upset No. 1 Purdue, 63-58, to become the second men’s 16-seed to beat a 1-seed in NCAA tournament history.  The Knights will play Florida Atlantic on Sunday in Columbus, Ohio.

It's amazing how quickly the blue bloods have fallen this year.  No. 8 Arkansas upset No. 1 Kansas, 72-71, in the round of 32.  The last five defending men's champs failed to reach the Sweet 16.

This is looking like the Tournament of Cinderellas.  No. 15 Princeton upset No. 7 Missouri, 78-63, to reach the Sweet 16.  This is the third straight men's tournament that a 15-seed reached the Sweet 16.

With everybody's brackets in shambles, it's time to reassess who the favorites of the tournament are.  Myron Medcalf reseeded the remaining March Madness field after two No. 1 seeds went down before the Sweet 16.  Here are the new seedings.

1.  Alabama
2.  Houston
3.  UCLA
4.  Texas
5.  UConn
6.  Tennessee
7.  Gonzaga
8.  Kansas State
9.  Xavier
10.  Creighton
11.  Arkansas
12.  San Diego State
13.  Miami (Fla.)
14.  Michigan State
15.  Princeton
16.  Florida Atlantic

These two teams need to play more often!  Julian Strawther’s deep last-second 3 avoided No. 3 Gonzaga from an epic collapse against No. 2 UCLA in the men’s Sweet 16 for a 79-76 upset.  The Bulldogs will play UConn on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Down goes another top dog!  No. 5 San Diego State upset No. 1 Alabama, 71-64, to advance to the men’s Elite Eight for the first time in school history.  The Aztecs will play Creighton on Sunday in Louisville, Ky.

We should not have doubted the underdogs.  No. 5 Miami (Fla.) upset No. 1 Houston, 89-75.  This is the first time since seeding started in 1979 that none of the 1-seeds made the Elite Eight.  The Hurricanes will play Texas on Sunday in Kansas City, Mo.

Tonight is a great night to be a fan of the mid-majors.  No. 9 Florida Atlantic upset No. 3 Kansas State, 79-76, to become the third 9-seed to reach the men's Final Four and first since 2013.

I don't care which side you were rooting for, you have to have felt some pain for those kids from Spokane.  No. 4 UConn upset No. 3 Gonzaga, 82-54, to reach their first Final Four since 2014.  This was the largest Elite Eight win by any team since 1992.

This is mid-major madness!  No. 5 San Diego State beat No. 6 Creighton, 57-56, to reach the first men’s Final Four in school history.  The Aztecs will play Florida Atlantic on Saturday in Houston.
