God, I love Big Ten basketball!  No. 5 Iowa's Jordan Bohannon banked in an "impossible" desperation three-pointer with under a second remaining for an 80-77 win over No. 9 Indiana and send the Hawkeyes to the Big Ten title game against Purdue on Sunday in Indianapolis.

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second, we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
It’s in the stars
It’s been written in the scars on our hearts
That we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
It’s in the stars
It’s written in the scars on our hearts
That we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again

No. 5 Saint Mary's beat No. 12 Indiana, 82-53, to advance to play on Saturday in Portland, Ore., against No. 4 UCLA, who beat No. 13 Akron, 57-53.

It feels like every year, a top seed goes down in the second round.  No. 8 North Carolina gave up a 25-point lead but rallied in overtime for a 93-86 upset over No. 1 Baylor in the second round of the NCAA tourney.  The Tar Heels will play UCLA on Friday in Philadelphia.

The clock hasn't hit midnight for Cinderella yet.  No. 15 Saint Peter's upset No. 7 Murray State, 70-60, in the second round.  The Peacocks are the third 15-seed to reach the men's Sweet 16.

Down goes another 1.  No. 4 Arkansas upset No. 1 Gonzaga, 74-68, in the Sweet 16.  This was the Razorbacks’ first win against a No. 1 seed in the men’s tournament.  The Razorbacks will play Duke on Saturday in San Francisco.

Another 1 bites the dust.  No. 5 Houston upset No. 1 Arizona, 72-60.  The Cougars advanced to the second straight Elite Eight and seventh in program history against Villanova on Saturday in San Antonio.

How is this even happening?  No. 15 Saint Peter’s is continuing their magical run, upsetting No. 3 Purdue, 67-64.  The Peacocks are the first 15-seed to ever reach the Elite Eight against North Carolina on Sunday in Philadelphia.

This is a familiar story.  No. 2 Villanova downed No. 5 Houston, 50-44, to reach the Final Four for the fourth time under head coach Jay Wright and the first time since 2018.

The legendary career of Coach K is not over yet.  No. 2 Duke beat No. 4 Arkansas, 78-69.  Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski reached his record 13th men’s Final Four, breaking a tie with John Wooden.

That may have been the most emphatic statement going into the Final Four.  No. 1 Kansas dominated the second half to beat No. 10 Miami (Fla.), 78-50, to reach their 16th men's Final Four and first since 2018 on Saturday in New Orleans against Villanova.

Cinderella's run is over but we will get the latest ever edition of the Battle of Tobacco Road.  No. 8 North Carolina beat No. 15 Saint Peter's, 69-49, to face ACC rival Duke in the men's NCAA tournament for the first time on Saturday in New Orleans.

Well, here's a familiar tale I'm sure you've all heard.  No. 1 Kansas knocked off No. 2 Villanova, 81-65, in the men's Final Four to advance to the 10th national championship game in program history.

UPDATE:  Farewell, Coach K.  No. 8 North Carolina upset rival No. 2 Duke, 81-77, in the men's Final Four to reach the 12th national championship game in program history against Kansas on Monday in New Orleans.
