Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second, we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
It’s in the stars
It’s been written in the scars on our hearts
That we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
It’s in the stars
It’s written in the scars on our hearts
That we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again

I feel like this will be good for the game.  According to Pete Thamel, the College Football Playoff board of managers decided on a 12-team College Football Playoff, expected to start in 2026.

I really don't blame Coach for saying this.  Lee Corso called today's "College GameDay" headgear pick "the toughest pick I've ever made" for tonight's game between No. 5 Notre Dame  and No. 2 Ohio State.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Most of you are excited for this game, but Ii see it as my personal Hell.  Ohio State and Heisman co-favorite C. J. Stroud are welcoming Notre Dame to the Horseshoe.

UPDATE 2:  It actually makes me physically ill to say that this is a good game.  Ohio State leads Notre Dame, 14-10, entering the fourth quarter.

Ohio State beat Notre Dame, 21-10.

After that game, somebody check on Cade.  LSU marched 99 yards with 1:20 left but missed the PAT as Florida State served Tigers head coach Brian Kelly's squad some 24-23 heartbreak.

Already, the College Football Playoff discussion is on.  The latest AP Poll is in and Alabama is staying at the top at No. 1.  Michigan jumped into the Top 5 at No. 4.  Ohio State dropped a spot to No. 3.

That was a fun finish.  Bryce Young led a drive in the game's final minute as No. 1 Alabama edged Texas, 20-19.

Mom, get the camera!  No. 17 Pittsburgh's Gavin Bartholomew went up-and-over a defender from No. 24 Tennessee, then raced to the end zone.  Updates to come.

Tennessee upset Pittsburgh, 34-27, in overtime.

Now comes the part where I throw my head back and laugh.  No. 8 Notre Dame suffered a huge upset to Marshall, 26-21.  Marcus Freeman is the first head coach in Fighting Irish history to lose his first three games.

To call this regime a nightmare would be an understatement.  Nebraska fired head football coach Scott Frost, who had a 16-31 record at his alma mater.

What a thriller today in Boone!  Appalachian State beat Troy, 32-28, with a 53-yard walk-off Hail Mary touchdown on the final play of the game that you have to see to believe.

We've got some shakeups this weekend.  Georgia held firm at the top of the AP poll at No. 1.  Penn State jumped into the Top 15 at No. 14.  Michigan State dropped out.

This season has been one of shocker after shocker.  Kansas State upset No. 6 Oklahoma, 41-34, to win two straight road games against AP Top 10 teams for the first time in the poll era.

Another week, another round of changes in the Ap Top 25.  Georgia stayed put at No. 1, as did the rest of the Top 5 as Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan and Clemson retain their spots.  Tennessee and NC State climbed into the Top 10 at Nos. 8 and 10, respectively.  Oklahoma and Arkansas tumbled to, respectively, Nos. 18 and 20.
