I feel sick.  The Blackhawks won the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NHL draft lottery.  The Ducks, Blue Jackets and Sharks rounded out the Top 4.

What a thriller tonight in Raleigh!  The Panthers finished it in quadruple overtime when Matthew Tkachuk scored the winner in the 79th minute of overtime in a 3-2 win over the Hurricanes in the sixth-longest game in NHL history.

It is time to hunt for silver.  The Panthers swept the Hurricanes with Matthew Tkachuk scoring an unbelievable goal with 4.9 seconds left for a 4-3 win for their second Stanley Cup Final appearance in franchise history and first since 1996.

This going to be a good showdown in the Sun Belt.  The Golden Knights knocked off the Stars, 6-0, in Game 6 to advance to their second Stanley Cup Final in franchise history.  The Golden Knights will play the Panthers beginning on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Chalk one up for the boys in armor.  Mark Stone's goal was reviewed and upheld as the Golden Knights beat the Panthers, 5-2, to win Game 1 and take a 1-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Final.

Looks like the newer of the two teams has all the momentum.  The Golden Knights cruised in Game 2, pouring in seven goals and seeing Jack Eichel return from a brutal hit for a 7-2 win and a 2-0 Stanley Cup Final lead against the Panthers.

What a thriller tonight in Sunrise!  Carter Verhaeghe was the overtime hero as he snapped it top shelf for a 3-2 Panthers win over the Golden Knights as clutch goals reduced the Stanley Cup Final deficit to 2-1.

It's not looking good for both teams from South Florida.  The Golden Knights are one win away as Chandler Stephenson scored twice to defeat the Panthers, 3-2, to take a 3-1 series lead in the Stanley Cup Final.

UPDATE:  Now I'm wondering how many players will be suspended for the next game.  A big brawl ended Game 4 when the Golden Knights' Adin Hill made a save in the closing seconds before tensions exploded with the Panthers.

Somebody play “Viva Las Vegas” by Elvis Presley or “Whatever It Takes” by Imagine Dragons!  The Golden Knights defeated the Panthers, 9-3, in Game 5 to win their first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
