Our next author interview is with the author of the excellent Hotel Limbo series, donut_plains

In this interview we will find out he got into writing celebrity erotica, who influenced him to write in this genre and other topics related to his writing.

You can find his profile at donut_plains

1. Where are you from?

Scotland

2. How did you come up with your pen name and is there any meaning behind it?

No meaning behind it. It was a fun world in Super Mario World, possibly the best video game ever.

3. How long have you been writing celebrity erotic fiction?

I think around 9 years.

Can’t believe it will soon be a decade!

4. Who or What got you started writing erotic fiction?

I enjoyed reading some stories on websites. I think some stories really got me and made me visual some fantasy situations. Some stories were great but no matter how many great stories you read, there are always ideas you have for your own that you’d like to make. So I did!

5. Who would you say are your biggest influences as a writer of less than appropriate celeb fiction? Which authors, if any, would have inspired you?

At the moment, Cadeauxxx is the biggest influence. The way he writes is incredible, creating such a vivid picture. AlmostTime also created a fantasy world which I could write in. He inspired me in my most productive period a few years ago.

6. Who are your favourite celeb sex story writers? Past and Present.

Cadeauxxx certainly. We have similar tastes in story and women. The story he creates is so detailed but is paced so nicely. It’s a skill that is rare. Currently CHLP writes a lot of women I love and has storylines I like a lot. Grobnar’s stories have great worlds too.

In the past AlmostTime wrote great stories as I’ve said. Luke Ozvik wrote some different ones which I enjoyed.

7. Any favourite sex stories that you've read that made you think - "Wow! That's incredible!"

There’s a few by Cadeauxxx that I love and re-read. There’s a Vegas story with Britney Spears and a few Big Booty Bitches that I love. Just the level of detail and build up to the sex is really what I love. I’d love to be able to write like that. Then there’s the sex. It’s just hot. From a writing point of view they’re well paced. Can be fast and hot but others are slow and seductive.

8. Which of your own stories are you the most proud of writing?

There’s a few I like but one that sticks out is one I wrote with Holly Willoughby/Kelly Brook and a leprechaun. It has big tits, high heels and magic. I guess I like it because it’s fun, maybe the most fun and zany I’ve written. That’s the level I strive for in terms of fun with all my stories.

9. Which celebrities do you enjoy writing about the most?

I guess I’ve been doing this mong enough to have had phases of celebrities. In the first phase, I loved the women in friends particularly Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox. Britney Spears was also popular here and still remains in my stories today.

In the next phase though I had plenty of women. Holly Willoughby is the standout in this phase, she is stunning. I also wrote Girls Aloud a lot with Cheryl Cole in particular. They made a great lesbian fantasy. And if the girl wasn’t busty, I usually made them that way. Kaley Cuoco and Katy Perry were curvy and fitted my tastes too.

More recently I liked Danielle Panabaker and Nadine Mulkerrin. They’re a bit slimmer and less busty but I like them that way and don’t tend to make their chests bigger.

10. What type of sex scenes do you enjoy writing the most?

Lesbian probably the most. It allows me to put more of the women I like into the same story. I think scissoring is super hot but it can be tricky to write into a story well.

After that, I love a titfuck (because I like big tits) scene although I write them from the women’s POV a bit more where they get probably a little too much pleasure out of it, a long the lines of porn. I like the cum shot at the end too which is usually exaggerated.

If you’ve read any of my work you’ll know I love to include lingerie and platformed peep toe high heels.

11. Do you have routine for how and when you write?

Sadly not. It was always a case of when the mood took me. In recent years my productivity has declined and that probably won’t change. But hopefully I’ll maybe write a few stories a year for a while.

12. Do you sketch out a plan on paper/word/notes or write off the cuff with a basic idea and let it flow from there?

I wish I did plan things out but I don’t. I just go with a flow. Now that writing is a bit erratic in terms of schedule, a plan would be helpful to have for when I go back.

13. Apart from hot celebrities, does anything else influence your writing? Music, Fashion, TV etc.

No, I’ve never really done that. Other writers are inspiring.

When I was more productive I liked doing requests. I did a fair amount I think. I like writing for people, hopefully making a dream more involved for people. I enjoyed writing different women too. However as my productivity has dropped I’ve had less time to do it. I still like getting different names and requests but I’m usually unable to fulfil them unless they are 100% on my list.

14. Any projects you are working on that you are excited about?

I’m half way through a hotel limbo story with multiple celebrities which is in pause mode. I like the start so I am determined to finish it.

15. Any tips for readers that may want to start writing celebrity erotic fiction?

Just give it a go. You never know who wants to read a story like yours but if no-one likes it, at least you will and that’s all that really matters.

From Cadeauxxx

“how do you feel to know you have influenced new writers who came after you?”

Never really thought about that. It’s a good question. I guess a little strange considering what we do but hopefully influencing someone to create something they enjoy and maybe others is always a positive. I hope that by contributing to something I’ve overall helped make it a better place.
