It's time for football again.  The preseason starts tonight in Canton, Ohio.  Use this thread to post all the news and notes of the season and remember to be respectful to others.
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second, we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
It’s in the stars
It’s been written in the scars on our hearts
That we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
It’s in the stars
It’s written in the scars on our hearts
That we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again

Talk about a hefty payday.  According to Adam Schefter, the Bills and quarterback Josh Allen agreed to a six-year, $280 million deal with $150 million guaranteed, the most ever in a single contract.

That's gonna put them in a win-now mode, cause they won't have the money to build around him in the near future.

Welcome back to football with fans.  Full stadiums (please mask up if you're going) and lots of noise are going to be welcoming sights and sounds as the regular season kicks off tonight with a title defense.  Your Opening Night schedule:

Dallas Cowboys at Tampa Bay Buccaneers tonight at 8:20 p.m.

I'm still having whiplash from the Chiefs' 33-29 win over the Browns.  We might have our first contender for NFL Game of the Year.

Are you ready for some football?  The Ravens are playing the Raiders on “Monday Night Football”.  Updates to come.

The Raiders beat the Ravens, 33-27, in overtime.  (What a thriller tonight in Las Vegas!)

You idiot!  The Rams' Kenny Young was tossed in the third quarter for making contact with an official during an argument after a play in the 27-24 win over the Colts.

Tough day for the Vikings.

NFC North might be tight this year if the Lions do their job tonight

Looking at the last message, I really hope Detroit wins this one.  The Lions are playing the Packers on “Monday Night Football”.  The Packers suffered a 35-point loss in Week 1.  Updates to come.

The Packers beat the Lions, 35-17.

What a thriller (and heartbreaker) today in Detroit!  The Ravens’ Justin Tucker set an NFL record for the longest field goal as he slammed a walk-off 66-yard field goal off the crossbar and through in a 19-17 win over the Lions.

One of the best rivalries in the league is back on.  The Eagles are playing the Cowboys on “Monday Night Football”.  This is the first meeting between the Cowboys’ Dak Prescott and the Eagles’ Jalen Hurts.  Updates to come.

The Cowboys beat the Eagles, 41-21.
