Cade, even you have to feel bad for him.  According to The Athletic, No. 5 Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a dislocated hip in today's 38-7 win over Mississippi State.

The latest College Football Rankings are in and... nothing has changed.  LSU, Ohio State, Clemson and Georgia continue to sit at the top.  Alabama is still fifth and Georgia remains at sixth.

This makes the upset I am predicting for Saturday that much sweeter.  Ohio State, LSU, Clemson and Georgia topped the College Football Playoff rankings.  Alabama is fifth and Utah is sixth.

Has everybody caught their breath?  No. 15 Auburn claimed a historic Iron Bowl, upsetting No. 5 Alabama, 48-45.  It was the second-highest-scoring Iron Bowl.  The Crimson Tide missed a tying field with 2:00 left and it was the most points allowed under head coach Nick Saban.

This weekend’s games are going to be huge.  The new College Football Playoff rankings were revealed and the Top 4 stayed the same with Ohio State, LSU, Clemson and Georgia.  Utah and Oklahoma are on the outside looking in.  Alabama dropped to No. 12.

Our boy Cade is going to be a happy man.  No. 2 LSU beat No. 4 Georgia, 37-10, to win the SEC championship.  It was the Tigers' first SEC title since 2011 and their fifth win against an AP Top 10 team as Joe Burrow finished his seventh game with four passing touchdowns.

It's almost time to crown the best of the best.  The Heisman Trophy will be awarded at 8 p.m.  Will LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts, Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields or Ohio State defensive end Chase Young win the prestigious award?  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Heisman is finally coming back to Death Valley.  Burrow won the 2019 Heisman Trophy.  He became the first LSU player to win since 1959.

It's playoff time!  No. 1 LSU is playing No. 4 Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl.  LSU has a 67 percent Football Power Index chance to win.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  That was over quickly.  LSU downed Oklahoma, 63-28, to advance to the College Football Playoff title game on Jan. 13, 2020, in New Orleans.  LSU set a College Football Playoff record for points scored and Joe Burrow had seven passing touchdowns to tie a bowl record.

UPDATE 2:  You should know by now who I will root for.  No. 2 Ohio State is playing No. 3 Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl.  The Buckeyes have a 54 percent Football Power Index chance to win.

UPDATE 3:  ALL IN!  Clemson upset Ohio State, 29-23, in a thrilling College Football Playoff semifinal.  Clemson had the game-winning touchdown with 1:49 left and Travis Etienne had two receiving touchdowns and a rushing touchdown.  The Buckeyes threw an end zone interception on the last drive.

Time for a new quarterback conversation to open up in Tuscaloosa.  Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa announced he will enter the NFL draft.  Tagovailoa is Mel Kiper Jr.'s No. 12 overall prospect.

This is quite the upgrade.  According to Yahoo Sports, the Carolina Panthers are going to hire Baylor head coach Matt Rhule to the same position.
