In his return to the house he built, TB12 made a little more history.  The Buccaneers' Tom Brady broke Drew Brees' NFL record for career passing yards with a 29-yard strike to Mike Evans in the first quarter against the Patriots.  Updates to come.

The Buccaneers beat the Patriots, 19-17.

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second, we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
It’s in the stars
It’s been written in the scars on our hearts
That we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
Just give me a reason

Get ready for an aerial show out west.  The 3-0 Raiders are playing the 2-1 Chargers on “Monday Night Football”.  These are two of the NFL’s best passing attacks.  Updates to come.

The Chargers beat the Raiders, 28-14.

This should be fun to watch.  The 1-3 Colts are playing the 3-1 Ravens on “Monday Night Football”. The Ravens’ Lamar Jackson is 2-2 on “MNF”.  Updates to come.

The Ravens beat the Colts, 31-25, in overtime.  (What a thriller tonight in Baltimore!)

Remember to always think before you send.  According to NFL Network, Jon Gruden is out as Raiders head coach after a report that he used misogynistic and anti-gay language in emails.

What a thriller today in Foxborough!  The Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb hauled in a 35-yard walk-off touchdown in overtime and waved goodbye to the Patriots' Jalen Mills after the play in a 35-29 win.

What a game last night.

The Packers get a TD called back that shouldn't have been. Down at the goal line, rather than punch it in with a quick running play, they blow a 4th and goal trying to pass. (Rodgers is as bad as Brady with not running the ball at the goal line). The Cards get the ball back and drive all the way down to the opposite side endzone, only for AJ Green to give up on the play and an endzone INT Malcolm Butler style to finish the game.

Somebody tell me what they're smoking in Denver.  According to Adam Schefter, the Broncos are finalizing a blockbuster trade that will send eight-time Pro Bowl linebacker Von Miller to the Rams for two second-day 2022 draft picks.

No matter who loses this game, there will be seats that will be getting warmer.  The 3-4 Chiefs are playing the 2-5 Giants on “Monday Night Football”.  Updates to come.

The Chiefs beat the Giants, 20-17.

Chiefs would be crazy to fire Reid. I don't see that happening after he won them a SB and has turned them into a perennial playoff contender.

All backup QBs won yesterday.

Mike White - Jets
PJ Walker - Panthers

Trevor Siemian - Saints
Cooper Rush - Cowboys

Has this ever  happened before?

I was thinking that one of his assistants might be in trouble if they had fallen to 3-5.

This is such a terrible tragedy.  Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs will be charged with DUI resulting in death after his involvement in a fatal car crash in Las Vegas.

UPDATE:  This just felt inevitable.  The Raiders released Ruggs, who is facing multiple felonies after a vehicle crash that left a woman dead.
