Everyone back to your benches!  The Heat’s Jimmy Butler was put in a chokehold by the Pelicans’ Naji Marshall after a hard foul on the Pelicans’ Zion Williamson incited a massive fight in the fourth quarter.  The Heat beat the Pelicans, 106-95.

I like a good feature story and I’ve found a really good one.  Go find the story from Zach Lowe as he discusses why the Clippers decided it was time for a massive rebrand with a new logo, colors and jerseys.

What a thriller tonight in Cleveland!  Cavaliers fans went wild after Max Strus drained an unbelievable buzzer-beater from beyond half court to defeat Luka Dončić and the Mavericks, 121-119.

We are to see an unprecedented scoring mark fall.  LeBron James is nine points shy of 40,000 career points as the Lakers host the Nuggets.  Updates to come.

UPDATE: Is there anything this man has not done?  James became the first player in NBA history with 40,000 career points with a second-quarter layup against the Nuggets.

The Nuggets beat the Lakers, 124-114.

The posters will be arriving at Target and Walmart within a week.  The Warriors bench lost it after Trayce Jackson-Davis climbed the 7-foot-4 ladder for an unbelievable dunk on the Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama in a 112-102 win.

What a thriller today in Dallas!  The Mavericks’ Kyrie Irving lefty floater over Nikola Jokić as time expired to send the Nuggets home, 107-105.

Did we get the poster of the year?  The Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards levitated over the Jazz’s John Collins for one of the nastiest dunks you’ll ever see in an NBA game.  Updates to come.

The Timberwolves beat the Jazz, 114-104.

Oh, sure, now he decides to play defense.  The Clippers bench was confused as shooting guard James Harden kicked it out to strong forward Kawhi Leonard for a corner three, then contested the shot.

Oh, Lord!  The Warriors’ Stephen Curry was left shaking his head after two quick technical fouls led to Draymond Green being thrown out four minutes in against the Magic.  Updates to come.

The Warriors beat the Magic, 101-93.

Wow, everybody hates this call.  Lakers small forward LeBron James said, “I ain’t rolling with that call,” as he, Dodgers co-owner Magic Johnson and Travis Scott were among those who reacting negatively to Iowa’s win over UConn in the Women’s Final Four and a controversial late foul call.

If this story is true, get him out of there!  NBA commissioner Adam Silver said the Raptors’ Jontay Porter could face a permanent ban if the allegations of Porter committing the “cardinal sin” of betting are true.  Updates to come.

The Raptors lost to the Nets, 106-102.

Big day to close the NBA season!  The Bulls are playing the Knicks right now.  The Knicks can reach the No. 2 seed.  The Lakers will play the Pelicans at 3:30 p.m. with huge implications for the playoffs.  Updates to come.

The Knicks beat the Bulls, 120-119, in overtime.
The Lakers beat the Pelicans, 124-108, to force a rematch in the Play-In Tournament on Tuesday in New Orleans.

It’s like a brand new Dream Team!  According to Adrian Wojnarowski, USA Basketball is finalizing their 2024 Paris Olympics roster with Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, Lakers small forward LeBron James, Suns power forward Kevin Durant, 76ers center Joel Embiid and more.

I am shocked having to type this.  The Kings ended the Warriors’ season with a 118-94 win as the Warriors’ Klay Thompson was held scoreless.  The Kings will play the Pelicans, a 110-106 loser to the Lakers, in the West play-in on Friday in New Orleans.  The Lakers will play the Nuggets beginning on Saturday in Denver.

I'd love for the Lakers to win one or two, but am doubtful.
