Our next author interview is with DarkSwordsman

In this interview we will find out he got into writing celebrity erotica, who influenced him to write in this genre and other topics related to his writing.

You can find his profile at DarkSwordsman

1. Where are you from?

London.

2. How did you come up with your pen name and is there any meaning behind it?

I honestly can’t remember how I came up with it and, to the best of my recollection, it means absolutely nothing.  However, my name on Literotica, DarkSwordmanReturns, is a reference to my favourite Batman comic, The Dark Knight Returns.

3. How long have you been writing celebrity erotic fiction?

About three years.

4. Who or What got you started writing erotic fiction?

Really I think it just started from reading other people’s work and thinking “hey, maybe I could do this too”, but I’m sure that’s what everyone says.

5. Who would you say are your biggest influences as a writer of less than appropriate celeb fiction? Which authors, if any, would have inspired you?

My biggest influence is an author called Slutwriter.  He doesn’t write celebrity fiction and a lot of the content and themes in his work doesn’t interest me, but I adore his writing style, and it’s the style I most try to emulate.

6. Who are your favourite celeb sex story writers? Past and Present.

I don’t read as much celeb fiction as I probably should, but there are a lot of talented writers out there whose work I’ve enjoyed over the years.

7. Any favourite sex stories that you've read that made you think - "Wow! That's incredible!"

I’m a big fan of Slyguy’s Sex-Ed For Dummies series, and I was very impressed by how many people managed to write great, fleshed out stories in under 1200 words for The Brevity Series.  I tried it numerous times and failed miserably on every occasion!

8. Which of your own stories are you the most proud of writing?

I’m quite proud of how Taylor’s Big British Bash is shaping up.  It’s my first series with an actual story arc, not just celebs fucking for several chapters and I’m pretty pleased with how it’s going.  I’m also very much enjoying my collaboration with Slyguy.  I’d never done a collab before, so I’m finding it a lot of fun!

9. Which celebrities do you enjoy writing about the most?

It seems obvious, but I generally just write about the celebrities that I find the most attractive.  I don’t concern myself too much with capturing the person’s actual personality, in part because most of my stories are massively far fetched!  For example, I’m sure my portrayal of Taylor Swift in my orgy stories is nothing like her true personality, but it’s what I find the most fun to write.  From an anatomical stand point, I like writing tit-fucking scenes, so busty ladies like Christina Hendricks and Hayley Atwell are some of my favourites to write.

10. What type of sex scenes do you enjoy writing the most?

As I said above, titty-fucking is a personal favourite of mine, as are two or threeway blowjobs and just group sex in general.  But I like to think I’ve covered a bit of everything across my back catalogue- from handjobs to gangbangs.  I just love writing sex!

11. Do you have routine for how and when you write?

Not really.  I try not to write if I’m not in the mood, as I feel the quality of the work diminishes as a result, but if I’m in a rush to get something finished by a particular date then unfortunately that goes out of the window.  Other than that, I just write until I get bored and pick it up the next day.

12. Do you sketch out a plan on paper/word/notes or write off the cuff with a basic idea and let it flow from there?

Depends on the story.  Series will generally require a fair bit of planning, though I still try to let them be as spontaneous as possible.  Single shots will be more off the cuff.

13. Apart from hot celebrities, does anything else influence your writing? Music, Fashion, TV etc.

Films are probably my main inspiration.  For example, the movie Spring Breakers was a big influence on my Taylor orgy stories.  Also TV, as I’ve written my share of fan-fiction over the years, and I’m working on something right now which is inspired by those tacky old 70's game shows.  It seems a bit obvious but porn is a big influence on my work, and not just the fucking, but the filmmaking side as well, as a few of my stories are written like porno movies.  And though I don’t use it much myself, social media plays a big part in some of my stories, like the Taylor ones and #GangbangChallenge, so I guess that would be an influence as well.

14. Any projects you are working on that you are excited about?

I’m currently working on my first commission, which I’m very much enjoying.  I don’t write a great deal of single shots, so most of my stories are works in progress, and I’m excited to see in which direction they all end up going!

15. Any tips for readers that may want to start writing celebrity erotic fiction?

Just do it!  Don’t worry about whether you think you have the skills or not.  You won’t know unless you try.  Write about what interests and excites you and, most importantly, have fun!
