This bombshell may have some of the worst allegations I have read if they are true.  Ex-Dolphins head coach Brian Flores is suing the NFL, Dolphins, Giants and Broncos for alleged racism in hiring practices.

UPDATE:  I am not surprised by this accusation at all.  Flores alleged Dolphins owner Stephen M. Ross offered $100,000 for every loss in the 2019 season to improve their draft spot.

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second, we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
It’s in the stars
It’s been written in the scars on our hearts
That we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second we’re not broken, just bent
And we can learn to love again

At long last, there's a new name.  The Washington Football Team selected the Washington Commanders as their new nickname after a two-season process.

I actually like this move.  According to Adam Schefter, former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson is being hired as the next head coach of the Jaguars.

Washington Commanders lol.

They could've come up with something better than that.

We've got one last game before the big one.  The AFC's Patrick Mahomes and Jonathan Taylor are among the stars taking part in the NFL Pro Bowl as the annual all-star game.  Updates to come.

The AFC beat the NFC, 41-35.

Level up!  According to Adam Schefter, the Saints have informed their defensive coordinator, Dennis Allen, that they are hiring Allen as their next head coach.

Congratulations are in order for an incredible class.  Dick Vermeil and Cliff Branch are among the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2022.

UPDATE:  I wish the voting would take the playoffs into account.  Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the fifth player to win the NFL MVP in consecutive seasons, joining Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Joe Montana and Browns special advisor Jim Brown.

Staff finally did it!  Matthew Stafford's touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp with 1:25 left to play to give the Rams a 23-20 win over the Bengals in Super Bowl LVI for the franchise's second Super Bowl title.

UPDATE:  This is well-deserved.  Kupp, who had the winning touchdown for the Rams, was named Super Bowl LVI MVP, becoming the eighth player to win Super Bowl MVP as a wide receiver.

Hats off to Matthew Stafford. I'm so happy to see him win a ring.

One year outside of Detroit and he wins the SB. Really goes to show that being stuck in a dysfunctional organization can drag good players down.

I'm happy for McVay too. He's been the most interesting new coach in the league for the last few years. Always knew he would end up getting a ring eventually.
