No surprise, but this disease is getting the best of the sports world. According to Emily Kaplan, the NHL suspended play because of the coronavirus but hopes to resume in the future. The following games were postponed from tonight: Predators vs. Maple Leafs, Sabres vs. Canadiens, Flyers vs. Lightning, Hurricanes vs. Devils, Red Wings vs. Capitals, Penguins vs. Blue Jackets, Golden Knights vs. Wild, Panthers vs. Stars, Islanders vs. Flames and Canucks vs. Coyotes.

Looks like things are finally looking up for a return in one of the four major North American men's leagues. The NHL will abandon the rest of the regular season and will go straight to the playoff with 24 teams if the season resumes.
