The Jayhawks will play Howard on Thursday in Des Moines, Iowa. The Crimson Tide will play on Thursday in Birmingham, Ala., against the winner of Tuesday's game in Dayton, Ohio, between Southeast Missouri State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Cougars will play Northern Kentucky on Thursday in Birmingham, Ala. The Boilermakers will play on Friday in Columbus, Ohio, against the winner of Wednesday's game in Dayton, Ohio, between Fairleigh Dickinson and Texas Southern. This comes as the No. 1 Crimson Tide beat No. 2 Texas A&M, 82-63; the No. 1 Cougars were upset by No. 2 Memphis, 75-65; and the No. 1 Boilermakers beat No. 10 Penn State, 67-65.
