Does anybody want to win this game because I could watch this all day.  Top-ranked teams are heading to quadruple-overtime as No. 1 North Carolina and No. 18 Alabama are tied, 96-96.  Updates to come.

Alabama upset North Carolina, 103-101, in quadruple-overtime.

I'm watching Jim Valvano's speech at the 1993 ESPY Awards and it still gets to me.  Just remember, don't give up, don't ever give up.

This feels like it was the only right move to make.  No. 7 Texas suspended head coach Chris Beard without pay "until further notice" after his arrest today on a felony domestic violence charge.  Updates to come.

Texas beat Rice, 87-81, in overtime.

Let's face it, his career is over and it's probably for the best.  Texas fired men's basketball head coach Chris Beard as he faces a felony domestic violence charge.

I hate having to say this because somebody has lost a life.  Alabama forward Darius Miles was charged with capital murder after the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old woman.

I think we're all in agreement that after winning the 2021 Big East Tournament, the last couple years were an indisputable disaster.  Patrick Ewing is out as the head coach at Georgetown after six seasons.

It's amazing how quickly the blue bloods have fallen this year.  No. 8 Arkansas upset No. 1 Kansas, 72-71, in the round of 32.  The last five defending men's champs failed to reach the Sweet 16.

This is looking like the Tournament of Cinderellas.  No. 15 Princeton upset No. 7 Missouri, 78-63, to reach the Sweet 16.  This is the third straight men's tournament that a 15-seed reached the Sweet 16.

These two teams need to play more often!  Julian Strawther’s deep last-second 3 avoided No. 3 Gonzaga from an epic collapse against No. 2 UCLA in the men’s Sweet 16 for a 79-76 upset.  The Bulldogs will play UConn on Saturday in Las Vegas.

We should not have doubted the underdogs.  No. 5 Miami (Fla.) upset No. 1 Houston, 89-75.  This is the first time since seeding started in 1979 that none of the 1-seeds made the Elite Eight.  The Hurricanes will play Texas on Sunday in Kansas City, Mo.

Tonight is a great night to be a fan of the mid-majors.  No. 9 Florida Atlantic upset No. 3 Kansas State, 79-76, to become the third 9-seed to reach the men's Final Four and first since 2013.

I don't care which side you were rooting for, you have to have felt some pain for those kids from Spokane.  No. 4 UConn upset No. 3 Gonzaga, 82-54, to reach their first Final Four since 2014.  This was the largest Elite Eight win by any team since 1992.

This may be the most unexpected Final Four in a long time.  No. 5 Miami (Fla.) rallied for an 88-81 upset against No. 2 Texas to book their first trip to the men’s Final Four in school history.  The Hurricanes will play UConn on Saturday in Houston.

What a thriller tonight in Houston!  Lamont Butler drilled the winning basket at the buzzer as No. 5 San Diego State downed No. 9 Florida Atlantic, 72-71, in the men's Final Four.  That is what March Madness is all about.

UPDATE:  This should make for an exciting game.  No. 4 UConn beat No. 5 Miami (Fla.), 72-59, to reach their fifth men's national title game, where they will play San Diego State on Monday in Houston.

In a tournament that will be remembered for the mid-major success, it was a blue blood who got that one shining moment.  No. 4 UConn beat No. 5 San Diego State, 76-59, to win the men’s national championship.  The Huskies won their fifth in program history, tied for the fourth most all time.
