With free agency starting on Monday, it seemed like as good of a time as any to open the new thread.  As usual, when news breaks for the the NFL, you can post about it here.  Have fun and, I cannot stress this rule enough,...

BE RESPECTFUL!  NOBODY LIKES AN ASSHOLE!  FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS SIMPLE RULE WILL RESULT IN PUNISHMENT!

 Enjoy, everybody.
-
Bears trade #1 overall pick to Carolina for haul that includes DJ Moore (https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35830753/bears-trading-no-1-overall-pick-panthers-haul-includes-wr-dj-moore-sources-say)

DJ Moore is a legit WR1. I watched him rip up the Falcons secondary twice last year, and he had some plays against Tampa and the Saints too. Great pickup for Chicago!
-
				Carolina gets pick #9, #61, 2024 1st rounder, 2025 2nd rounder

-
Could have been another 1st added, but Poles wanted DJ Moore and he damn sure got him!
To say I'm over the moon is an understatement!
-
My bad that haul was for da bears should get some great players to fill gaps

-
If reports are true the cats out of the bag for draft with Carolina taking QB Stetson Bennett with #1 pick get ready for riots

-
And Miami is bulking up defense with trade getting CB Jalen Ramsey in trade with rams for 2023 3rd rounder and TE Hunter long

-
The hammer has dropped this is a twofer

Rodgers finally traded to jets after compensation hangup

And Dallas cuts bait with Zeke getting roster spot back and 5 mill in cap space but takes a 5 mill dead cap hit
-
Big play Slay going back to Philly seems he wants the bag more than a chip my guys were willing to sign him seems the years didn't add up

-
Rodgers finally traded to jets after compensation hangup

 False info. No trade yet.

You should really post sources on here where ever you get this info.
-
I'm aware no trade yet when I posted that the story had just broke on the network morning show

Not my fault packers brass are holding jets hostage wanting 2 first rounders and jets playing hardball for a disinterested QB yeah he wants to play but if 49ers were calling this wouldn't be an issue
-
After some thought I found the draft order for this year and shocker Dallas only has 7 picks all of them late round choices this may be a disaster

Detroit has 8 picks with no 4th or 7th rounder but they are spread out so good players should be available

Now my guys have 10 picks not sure where they will go but this should be fun seeing how we hosting the draft
-
Money, I have moved some of your posts and gave you your own special thread to talk about Dallas here (https://celebritystorysite.com/index.php?topic=4790.0).

-
Fair enough I wouldn't rip on them so much if they didn't give me material to work with on an almost daily basis

-
And Lamar Jackson shoots himself in the foot ( in a figurative way) where league memo states team brass only to negotiate with Lamar and nobody from his inner circle or family

They go on to mandate all players are to be represented by players union approved agents going forward which is telling current draft class don't do this if you plan on playing a long time which I'm sure Lamar will hire after league makes an example of him
-
WR DJ Chark going to Carolina

-
LB Bobby Wagner back to Seattle on 1 year deal

-
Now this is painful Raider fans seems Taylor swift sold out the home stadium on back to back nights while the team can't do that during a holiday game on national TV anytime of the season

-
Rodgers trade still at standoff stage with packers wanting 2 first rounders why not take bull by horns  trade him to Baltimore and throw monkeywrench in those talks

-
Washington has selling bid from ownership group that includes Magic Johnson current owner stands to make $6 billion on deal even after all the negative press

-
Rodgers trade still at standoff stage with packers wanting 2 first rounders why not take bull by horns  trade him to Baltimore and throw monkeywrench in those talks

They can't because in his contract, he owns the rights to pick who he wants to be traded to, and a trade to Baltimore makes no sense anyway.
-
Fine then let it slip packers are willing to send him to 49ers if Rodgers gives up no trade clause and see how fast he jumps at it

-
Florida has pro day and QB Richardson shines along with hitting the roof with the ball so far only team interested is Raiders mainly for the cannon arm yet this is same team that drafted biggest draft bust in history JaMarcus Russell if this happens I'm going to laugh

-
Lamar Jackson at it again rejecting contract offer from Baltimore the big thing is the 133 mill guaranteed at signing the rest of it amounts to about 100 mill if he's not happy with those numbers this close to the draft I think team will let him sit and draft his replacement just to give him the finger and crush his ego for kicks

-
Cam Newton back in the news giving list of teams he would play backup for this screams he's desperate to get back in league Cleveland, Baltimore, da bears, Miami, titans, Philly, and any team drafting Stroud, young, or Richardson thinking he can beat them out for starting job

He might want to consider a hair cut first those crazy dreadlocks won't fit in a helmet
-
The OBJ drama is over dude signs 1 year deal for 15 mill this might bring Jackson back but maybe not stay tuned

-
Detroit trading former #3 2020 pick to Atlanta for 5th rounder must have been a bust

-
Ok Philly fans get ready rumor flying that QB Jalen Hurts new contract in the neighborhood of 7 years $345 million will he get it we shall see

-
6 teams looking to move up in draft going after Arizona #3 pick trade talks still ongoing stay tuned

-
Levis draft stock taking a hit after he posted muscle pics on social media makes him look like jock meat head according to a few anonymous GMs

Most likely he will drop out of first round unless Dallas snags him at #26 but that wouldn't make any sense
-
G Budda Baker wants trade out of Arizona could be a nice fit with one of the 6 teams trying to get #3 pick stay tuned

-
Ok Philly fans your QB Jalen Hurts got paid 5 years 255 mill not sure what that will do to your cap but you should be set for a while

Now we shall see what this does for Jackson in Baltimore his leverage might have just been crushed
-
Report out Titans reached out to packers on a trade for Rodgers in case jets trade falls apart unclear if they would stay tuned this could get ugly

-
Report out saying 49era raking calls on trade for QB Trey Lance with only 8 days till draft this could upend first round

-
7 days left till the block party

-
Breaking news 5 players caught gambling suspensions handed down details to come

S2 test results released for QB draft class Young comes out with top score of 98
 Levis 93, Richardson 79, Hooker 48, Stroud 18

Stroud stock taking huge hit with 6 days to go might slip into 2nd round
-
Trade rumors starting to fly this one involving Arizona and KC with WR DeAndre Hopkins going to Arizona for RB Clybe Edwards Hellaire draft pick compensation unknown at this time stay tuned

-
Rodgers trade is final the breakdown is this

Rodgers goes to jets along with 2023 1st and 5th round picks for 1st, 2nd, and 6th round picks in 2023 and conditional 2024 2nd round pick that turns into first rounder if Rodgers plays 65% of the team snaps during the season

Jets had better pray for a chip after all that
-
Atlanta willing to trade up or back from #8 with right offer no offers yet still 2 days to go stay tuned

-
One day to go till the BBQ block party

-
Vegas going to be pissed if this goes down

Seems odds on Levis going #1 in draft is gaining steam going from 40:1 down to 4:1 after social media post
-
Rodgers in jets building press conference includes statements such as

I'm not here to be a savior

Good to know because if you don't miracle up a trophy New York media and fans will crucify you anyway
-
Lamar Jackson signs 5 year contract the drama is over details to come

-
With the draft now over we can all take stock of what happened where the team is going and project a good season from the looks of it my guys KC just reloaded for another run we shall see how that works out

I'm keeping my eyes on Detroit those were some solid picks and in a few trades you got extra going into next year

So glad seeing my college team Tennessee getting some draft love titans, giants, da bears, and Detroit should be happy with grabbing those skill players and O line help

And surprise to no one nobody talking about Dallas if they don't have to Jerry might be losing his draft touch but I think it has more to do with blabbing about draft strategy beforehand

If Philly wants a chip rematch they loaded for bear now fear the green people should make for an interesting year
-
The official draft weekend number is slitly higher but coming in at 312k is still impressive

-
Well looks like a case of monkey see monkey do with my guys grabbing up O line help from Tennessee in the rookie free agent pool might be cherry picking more skill players for mini camp

-
Pieces of the schedule out with KC home opener week 1 facing off against Detroit

-
Breaking news Tampa interested in signing Zeke not sure why other than being a camp body he may end up with vet minimum salary

-
Now the fun begins with the schedule release and time for good news/bad news

good news Cade should be happy with Saints drawing 2nd easiest schedule right behind Atlanta, KC comes in at #16 which I'm good with Detroit comes in at #20 so they should have it better than 500 this year with the new pieces in place

Bad news Dallas has 4th hardest schedule so suck it up Dallas fans this is going to be a long year for you save time and hope for a 500 season you'll sleep better
-
Now this is where digging for Intel pays off during a tour stop in her hometown of Philadelphia Taylor swift admits she enjoys football and is a fan of the eagles oh if only I could have made an insane bet with her last year totally would have been worth it

As a bonus she despises Dallas so bonus points for her on that
-

There had been some debate whether a line in her song Gold Rush where she mentions her "Eagles t-shirt" was a reference to the football team or the band. She cleared it up by telling the crowd "I'm from Philly, of course it's the team." (Actually, she's from Reading PA, but all of southeastern PA is pretty much Eagles country).
-
Hmmm I see rematch on the schedule could be a story idea there

it is way too early to determine strength of schedule. The Saints still have a coach with a 15-38 record and overpaid for a garbage QB they shut out last year. They didn't exactly upgrade as they still have the oldest roster in the league. The departures of most of the coaching staff following Sean Payton to Denver will be a huge concern. I'm not buying the hype until I see it.
-
KC lost our OC I'm not hitting the panic button

Saints should be fine new coach means nobody knows what offense your using or what schemes they have ready not like you have to sweat seeing Brady twice again

Even when KC was terrible I knew we could only go up from there and now we the Champs more than once and I'm loving the view
-
Saints should be fine new coach means nobody knows what offense your using or what schemes they have ready not like you have to sweat seeing Brady twice again

New coach was last year, and he has a 15-38 record; one of the worst in the league. If you watched them last year, their offense wasn't exactly explosive.
-
The great Jim Brown (https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/37685864/all-great-running-back-jim-brown-dies-87), often considered the GOAT in his era has died at 87.

-
Arizona released WR DeAndre Hopkins they eat 22.5 mill on dead cap money but get back 9 mill in cap space

Teams interested include KC, Buffalo, giants, jets, da bears, and Cleveland among others stay tuned
-
A future league vote will determine whether an owner (in this case Brady) will be allowed to suit up for Raiders my question is why? With that logic if Dallas made the championship game Jerry could suit up to make sure they made it to the super bowl while getting his head kicked in this proposal needs to die a horrible death and be buried forever keep Brady off the field

-
Brady is not coming back. Straight from the horses mouth. (https://www.nfl.com/news/tom-brady-insists-there-won-t-be-another-unretirement-i-m-certain-i-m-not-playin#:~:text=Tom%20Brady%20insists%20he%20won,of%20returning%20to%20the%20gridiron.)

-
Heard it before from the horse and had a trophy taken from KC because I believed that

-
So RB Dalvin cook is holding new team hostage wanting to be the highest paid I understand the why part but it just won't happen seems whoever willing to do that will get good player but no shot at rings

-
Breaking news from Friday going into training camp QB Trey Lance has no trade value 49ers we're looking to move him before draft but no market has opened he may get cut for cap reasons my vote would be he's a bust but team doesn't want to admit it to fans

-
Gambling suspensions handed down all involved will have to sit out the '23-'24 season which means a few won't return given they were late round picks to begin with

-
Update on cook seems he's sitting tight waiting for camps to open and injuries to happen for a team where he can jump in and get what he wants makes sense not having to go to camps risking injury on shoulder

-
Breaking news the jets will be this years hard knocks team get ready for the roller coaster

-
Breaking news DeAndre Hopkins signing with titans on 2 year deal

Clearly he doesn't want a ring it was about the money

Would have enjoyed having him in KC but this sounds like Hill all over again just waiting on that ring now
-
Camps are now open in a few places yet Barkley, cook, and Jacob's are still unsigned to new deals yet Barkley and jacobs are under franchise tags so the getting paid anyway

-
Camps open in a few hours but injury bug already making the rounds

-
Ok my satellite is out last I heard Burrow was being carted off the field I didn't catch if the cause was ankle or ACL anybody know?

-
We finally made it!  The preseason starts tonight in Canton, Ohio.  Let's have fun n this thread and please remember to behave yourself.  If not, I promise you'll have a problem on your hands.

-
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  Football is back!  The Jets are playing the Browns to kick off the preseason.  Updates to come.

The Browns beat the Jets, 21-16.
-
With preseason underway this thread may not last much longer just here to say I'm not happy with my guys losing to Cade's saints enjoy it while you can

-
I don't think I can ever watch this movie again.  Michael Oher, the subject of the movie "The Blind Side", alleged his adoption was a lie and the family took all the film proceeds.

-

Preseason don't count so I didn't watch it.

The hype right now for a Dennis Allen-led Saints team is unreal.
-
So Zeke finally finds team with Patriots 1 year prove it deal I think he looks better with the haircut

-
KMB can now rejoice as RB Dalvin cook signs with jets adding some extra firepower to the RB room

-
There was no way this wasn’t going to get messy.  The Tuohys disputed Michael Oher’s claims as their attorney said in a statement that Oher threatened to go public with his story if the family did not pay Oher $15 million.

-
This is a tragedy, plain and simple.  Authorities say one person died and another was injured when the home of Titans cornerback Caleb Farley exploded overnight.

-
If you're going to get a back-up quarterback, this may be your best option.  According to Adam Scheffter, the 49ers are trading former No. 3 overall pick Trey Lance to the Cowboys for a fourth-round pick.  Updates to come.

The 49ers lost to the Chargers, 23-12.
-
We are now one week away from the start of the season.  Before the season starts, I want to ask a question.  Who would you take as the first overall pick in your fantasy draft?  As much as it pains me to say it, I would go with Justin Jefferson.

-
If you want big scores to crush your opponents everyone knows to take Mahomes first

-
Breaking news coach Shanahan admits drafting Trey Lance was mistake by team so there you have the smoking gun of the draft class where Parsons should have gone to 49ers instead

Serious question: Can you talk about another team doing something without making it about the Cowboys? I'm convinced you are the #1 Dallas fan on this board.
-
I get where your coming from I was just connecting everything from the trade together I understand why they made the trade I thought it was worth noting the coach admitted they made a mistake taking Lance

I have my own thread for Dallas news as I've stated before I'm KC to the core I just keep track to laugh at the team when they get eliminated around the holidays so I don't hear all the fans talk crazy

I split your Dallas posts in here into a singular thread because it gets tiresome reading your obsession with them. I don't think you realize or care how annoying it is to the rest of the people on this board how much you love talking about Dallas. For a Chiefs fan, you have a weird obsession with this team that don't even make sense to me since they're not in KC's division or even their conference. You talk as if this is still the 90s and the Cowboys are some SB contender when in reality, they have been mediocre for 90% of my lifetime (I'm 31 years old).

If they some how win another SB, I will be pinning the blame on you for reverse karma constantly posting updates about every move they make in this forum.
-
That is quite the pay day!  According to Adam Schefter, 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa became the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history with a five-year, $170 million deal with $122.5 million guaranteed,

-
We're finally here!  The NFL season officially starts tonight with championship rings and, hey, look at that, my favorite team is getting a primetime spot on national TV to start the year.  Here's your Opening Night schedule:

Detroit Lions at Kansas City Chiefs tonight at 8:20 p.m.
-
Just back up the Brinks truck slowly.  According to Adam Schefter, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow agreed to a $275 million extension that makes Burrow the highest-paid player in NFL history.

-
I love this tradition.  Lee Corso said, "Play the fight song," threw on a No. 11 Texas mascot head to reveal his pick for the Texas vs. No. 3 Alabama game with NFL legend Joe Namath by his side.

-
Are you ready for some football?  The Bills are playing the Jets on “Monday Night Football”.  Aaron Rodgers is making his Jets debut.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  I do not want to make light of somebody getting hurt, but this is so typical of the Jets.  Rodgers was helped off the field and left the game in the first quarter because of an apparent leg injury against the Bills.

UPDATE 2:  This has to be soul-crushing for Gang Green.  Rodgers will not return against the Bills because of an ankle injury.  X-rays were negative.

UPDATE 3:  Are you ready for some bonus football?  The Bills’ Tyler Bass hit a late field goal that went off the upright with two seconds left to send the game against the Bills to overtime.

UPDATE 4:  What a thriller tonight in East Rutherford!  The Jets called game when Xavier Gipson returned a punt 65 yards in overtime to defeat the Bills, 22-16, without Rodgers.

UPDATE 5:  I hate to rain on a great game, but this needs to be said.  Head coach Robert Saleh said, “It’s not good,” as the Jets are fearing a torn Achilles for Rodgers.  Rodgers will get an MRI on Tuesday.
-
It's never a good sign in sports when ancient Greek mythology is referenced.  Multiple sources told ESPN that Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers will miss the remainder of the season after an MRI confirmed a torn Achilles.

-
Aaron Rodgers injury comes in week 1. Back in 1999, the Jets were SB favorites coming off a great year. Vinny Testeverde blew his Achilles in the 2nd quarter, crushing their SB hopes. Chad Pennington also suffered career altering injuries as soon as he looked good.

Judging by the play last night, the Jets offensive line is awful and was a problem last year. Next week they have to deal with Micah Parsons and a scary Dallas defensive line. The spread on that game is going to go over 7+ if it hasn't already.
-

-
I'm not happy my guys lost moving on to jags getting curb stomped into pudding

-
All that hard work went for nothing!  Russell Wilson's unreal and improbable 50-yard Hail Mary touchdown as time expired was not enough as the Broncos' two-point conversion failed against the Commanders in a 35-33 loss.

-
All that hard work went for nothing!  Russell Wilson's unreal and improbable 50-yard Hail Mary touchdown as time expired was not enough as the Broncos' two-point conversion failed against the Commanders in a 35-33 loss.

And they're blaming the refs. That game went so similar to the 2018 non-call game, it's hilarious.

Denver was up 21-3 and blew that lead to go down 24-35. That hail mary will look good on Russ' stat sheet, even though he couldn't do anything apart from his 3 bombs that fell and accounted for 150+ yards. Payton is calling games like he did in 2021 when he didn't want Jameis Winston throwing the ball much cause he couldn't trust him. I see the same thing with Wilson, whom he isn't going to be able to fix for the same he couldn't fix Winston.

Sean Payton is now 10-9 since Drew Brees retired.
I am amazed at how much this team resembles the Saints. You have all the boneheaded penalties, dirty hits on defense, and an offense that has a bunch of mediocre guys he thinks he can develop. Trautman was awful in NOLA which don't surprise me how bad he looks in Denver.

Broncos fans, welcome to the Sean Payton ride. He is a rock star headcoach. When the team is winning, everything is awesome and you love him despite him being an egotistical douche. When they're losing, get ready to hear about how it's all the refs fault, and lack of accountability on the team. He's already got the players blaming the refs for yesterday when they needed a miracle to even be in that position to try and tie for OT.

That game reminded me so much of the 2018 non-call game. The Saints were up 10-0, and then 20-10, and it took a miracle bomb pass by Brees to even get them in the red zone prior to the non-call. Everything became about the non-call and crying about the refs. No one wanted to take accountability for blowing a 10 point lead twice and all the sloppy play. Denver was up 21-3 at one point and should've never trailed by 11. This is what Sean Payton coached teams do. None of this surprises me. Drew Brees made him, not the other way around.
-
Strap your butts into a chair.  We're getting double the "Monday Night Football".  The Saints are playing the Panthers right now.  At 8:15 p.m., the Browns will play the Steelers.

The Saints beat the Panthers, 20-17.

UPDATE:  I hate seeing so many serious injuries this early in the season.  Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Nick Chubb is out for the season with a significant knee injury.  The Browns lost to the Steelers, 26-22.
-
That was a painful game to watch.

I am still not sold on the Saints. They are 2-0 barely beating bad teams. They barely beat the Titans by 1 point, and 3 points against a rookie QB with a bad team.

Derek Carr plays like he is scared to get hit, and generally is trash. I've never seen a 9 year veteran starting QB with worse footwork. They paid this man 150 million to play like ass for most of the game.

This looks like a team who is going to run into a buzz saw when they finally play a decent team, and just get thoroughly undressed and exposed. The defense has to play like a legendary unit to just barely win games cause their 150 million dollar QB can't get it done. Taysom Hill extended drives tonight leading to their 2 TDs. They should've just went with Hill and saved all that money.
-
Chubb going down was a big blow for Cleveland I missed the hit but I'm glad TV crew refused to air the replay from what I heard of the injury I haven't seen something like that since med school 20 years ago and even then it was disturbing

Cowboys CB Trevor Diggs suffers a torn ACL. Story here (https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38455269/cowboys-trevon-diggs-hurts-knee-practice-seen-crutches)

First major injury for a SB contender in the NFC.
-
Was this a real game or did somebody post their "Madden 24" score?  Tua Tagovailoa had four touchdown as the Dolphins recorded the fourth 70-point game in NFL history in a 70-20 rout of the Broncos.

-
I ship it!  Taylor Swift took up the Chiefs' Travis Kelce's invitation and is at Arrowhead Stadium watching the Bears play the Chiefs with Travis' mom, Donna Kelce.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  She must really like him.  Swift was hyped and got on her feet to celebrate Travis Kelce’s touchdown in the Chiefs’ 41-10 win against the Bears.
-
				Yay my guys

I'm not going to troll extreme1 I respect him but I'm pretty sure he's not happy right now
-
And when they break up, she can write a bunch of hateful slam songs against the Chiefs now.  ;)

-
The Lions are proving doubters wrong and people with SOL. I hope I didn't just jinx us for next week that is the biggest game so far this year.

-
I cannot believe how bad the Broncos are with Sean Payton.

In 2012, the year he was suspended for Bountygate, the Saints had a historically bad defense. They finished 7-9.

In 2014, 2015 and 2016, they set all time records for how bad they were in scoring defense, passing defense and rushing defense. They finished 7-9 in those years.

Drew Brees was the sole reason the floor didn't fall out in those years and they got 7 wins. Brees made Payton, and he ain't walking through that door any time soon.

This is the most Sean Payton thing ever to hire a retread defensive coordinator and the defense totally collapse. 70 points and 700+ yards.

Hats off to the Dolphins. Tua is the real deal.

-
Who is ready for another Monday doubleheader?  We have double the “Monday Night Football”.  The Eagles are playing the Buccaneers now.  The Rams will play the Bengals at 8:15 p.m.  That will be a Super Bowl LVI rematch.  Updates to come.

The Eagles beat the Buccaneers, 25-11.
The Bengals beat the Rams, 19-16.

It's funny cause she is one woman I'd never want head from and would pass given the opportunity.

Let's stick to football talk and not her.

 Some recent news:

 Jets sign Trevor Sieman (https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38497338/source-jets-sign-veteran-free-agent-qb-trevor-siemian)

Packers are optimistic Aaron Jones and Christian Watson will play on Thursday (https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38499157/packers-optimistic-aaron-jones-christian-watson-play-thursday) vs the Lions.

F_E and 313, how do you fellas feel about the Lions so far in the season? Even with one loss, I think they've looked great in what little I've seen him. We Saints fans surely miss that gutsy, aggressive play style Dan Campbell is bringing.
-
Fair enough I'm hearing rumors that jets may trade for Cousins not sure why but I get it

Not going to lie, still a little nervous.  This team has a history of seeming to make a leap and they fall flat on their faces.  If the Lions can dispatch the Packers tomorrow night, I will feel more confident.

From who? As usual, you never post the link source to these rumors on here. You just come in and here and post it like you're the source.

Please post links as your source, rather than just that you heard this or read that. Most of the time, it sounds like BS from you.

 Congrats on the big win.

Not going to lie to you, it irritates me seeing Detroit finish them off when the Saints couldn't despite shutting them out until midway into the 4th quarter.

Dan Cambell is such a better coach than Dennis Allen, it's not even funny. Allen coached so conservatively after Carr went down and let the defense get tired out. Campbell takes risks like you'd want from a coach. The Lions didn't allow a comeback, they finished them where the Saints couldn't.
-
NFL network, Skip Bayless, Stephen A Smith, Emanuel Acho, and Colin Cowherd are my sources

I'm never sure if other sports fans here see the same things I do so I never know if I'm the first one out the gate

Now me claiming to be dating Emma Watson without any proof yeah I should be ridiculed without mercy who knows what fans would do to me if it was legit

It’s been insane of late.  Seeing fans anoint the Lions as the new kings of the NFC North feels so foreign yet so nice.  Once they get the postseason berth, I’ll really feel good.  However, after the started 1-6 last season, they’re now 11-3 in their last 14 games.  It’s like *starts singing* What is this feeling, so sudden and new?
-
Who’s ready for some morning football?  The Falcons are playing the Jaguars as the NFL kicks off in London.  There is also a streaming version with the players as characters from “Toy Story”.  Updates to come.

Oh, so that's why you don't post links? All of those you named are gossipers and not real news.

Kirk Cousins has a no trade clause in his contract, explained here (https://sports.yahoo.com/adam-schefter-comments-potential-kirk-201246409.html).

Cousins is a reminder of the state of the NFL where teams stupidly overpay for mediocre QBs and pamper them at the expense of the rest of the team. He's not even the best example of this. Look no further than my team overpaying a QB with a 65-81 record (as of yesterday) to play even worse than the 2 they had last year for cheap. Minnesota can't even get rid of Cousins if they wanted to due to the no trade clause. The Saints probably did the same thing with Carr given how stupid they are.

It is showtime in the Big Apple.  The Seahawks are playing the Giants on “Monday Night Football”.  The Seahawks are 5-0 at MetLife Stadium.  Updates to come.

Now I'm going to be on my way since I'm currently talking with my fiancé yes folks money has landed himself a girl I'll honor my writing commitments to the site and my writing partners but I will be retiring soon

Not sure what to think of Monday night game something isn't working right

Funny thing those gossipers as you call them all came from the big news network after being let go for whatever reason and are making more money at the new spot with none of the baggage

I enjoy them for various reasons

Cowherd pulls no punches and is realistic on news stories that show up

Stephen A Smith hated Dallas fans even more than I do and trolls them even harder when they lose

Acho has his show and I enjoy watching Joy Taylor mainly for when stories sound petty in the headlines and she is the queen of petty

Skip is the ultimate Dallas homer and I enjoy seeing him twist in his chair when Jerry says something crazy or Dallas loses and he has to explain what happened

I enjoy nfl network mainly for angry runs dude is always hyped up
-

4 red zone trips. Zero points.

-
Something tells me after that pathetic performance on Monday, these two were told to spend Halloween on the tarmac at DTW.  According to Adam Schefter, the Raiders fired head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler.

-
I've thought that any coordinator should have 2 chances to be a HC if the first one is a failure due to poor draft classes and reaching for players that are less than happy to play for them or outright sabotage the team from within they should get a do over somewhere else if the 2nd team is just as bad dude should be coordinator for life

Which is why I think McDaniels should go back to patriots and wait for coach to leave so someone else can have that headache
-
McDaniels didn't bring Davante Adams there whom I assume is the unhappy one. The Raiders were only 3-5 and giving up on the season already. If anything, this makes the owner look bad to fire them already.

He did them one big favor getting rid of the QB they had for 9 years who still plays like a rookie. Unfortunately my team signed said QB to a ridiculous contract and we're now stuck with him.

Speaking of hyped up teams, the Bills are a disappointment.
-
I see where your coming from but it's not hype I'm poking fun at every decision Jerry makes trying to figure out the logic of the team trying to get to the super bowl with such a bad team and subpar play so when they do fail to get where they want to go I can laugh at them

You never have to read my Dallas thread I don't expect people to as stated from the beginning I only use it to vent about hearing Dallas fans that have moved into my area recently that are convinced they are going somewhere with the team they have instead of being realistic

I heard about the Watson thing at 6am I was going to post something but figured someone else would be faster about it It was interesting it took 6 hours to get posted just saying

The only reason you even have that Dallas thread is cause you couldn't stop posting about them in here, and people get tired of reading it. I think you have reverse karma'ed them into being a legit contender this year. Every other post from you is Dallas, Dallas, Dallas. You really do have a weird obsession with them for being a Chiefs fan.

If they reach the SB, I am putting #1 Cowboys fan in your header and you'll have earned that honor lol.

Just wanted to post a reminder for everybody.  The Eagles are playing the Chiefs in a Super Bowl LVII rematch on “Monday Night Football” on Monday in Kansas City, Mo.

-

-
We haven been waiting for this game all season!  The Eagles are playing the Chiefs on “Monday Night Football” in a Super Bowl LVII rematch.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  You hate to see it!  Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s brutal drop on a potential go-ahead 51-yard touchdown in the final seconds doomed the Chiefs as the Eagles claimed the Super Bowl rematch, 21-17.
-
Not happy my guys lost but I'll move on to next game

-
Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s brutal drop on a potential go-ahead 51-yard touchdown in the final seconds doomed the Chiefs as the Eagles claimed the Super Bowl rematch, 21-17.

This is a bit misleading. There was still 1:40 left in the game when that drop happened. Plenty of time for them to still lose on a game winning drive.
-
This is the type of performance that gets you cut.  The Steelers’ Dionte Johnson gave up on a live play during today’s 16-10 win over the Bengals.

-
How bad do things have to be for someone to get ousted this early into their tenure?  The Panthers fired head coach Frank Reich.  He was 1-10 in his lone season with Carolina.

-
I'd be more worried about Houston saying thank you we are on Stroud 9 because you picked a bust

-
I'd be more worried about Houston saying thank you we are on Stroud 9 because you picked a bust

Stroud would've been set up to fail if he went to Carolina too.

If you actually watch that team, Bryce Young is not the problem. Reich took a mobile QB and runs a dink and dunk pass offense with most of the passes under the line of scrimmage.

Dave Tepper asked for this though. He's the one that traded McCaffrey and DJ Moore, and chose to go all in for the #1 pick.
-
I want Derek Carr off my freaking team.

I have never seen a QB manage to get all 3 of their starting WRs injured in a span of 2 games. He throws hospital passes to guys, leading them into big hits.

Tom Brady recently said something about the mediocre play in the NFL, and he made a statement on QBs leading their receivers into big hits. He pretty much said that a QB that gets WRs injured don't belong in the NFL. He is 100% correct on that. Yesterday I watched Carr manage to get Shaheed and Olave injured on hospital balls. The Olave injury made me livid cause he was having a monster game before that.

I cannot believe the Saints looked at that shutout game vs the Raiders last year and decided to give this man $150 million. Carr is the WORST QB I have seen in a black and gold uniform in the past 20 years. Trevor Siemen was better than him.

I never want to hear again how it was all the Raiders fault why this guy sucks. He truly does suck! The diehard Raiders fans were screaming this 5-6 years ago. Not only is he bad, but he's a locker room cancer that destroys chemistry on a team. Carr lost the locker room when he had that hissy fit at Olave vs Jacksonville, and since then he's only managed to get guys injured.

They can fire Dennis Allen but he's left them a parting gift by handcuffing this organization to a bottom 3 QB.

People asked me all summer why I didn't buy into the Saints, and this is why. I watched enough Raiders games to know Carr is awful, and I seen enough of this coaching staff last year to know that an easy schedule wasn't going to be a gift to them. They were 5-5 with the easiest schedule in the league. Have a bye week, and come out flat against their arch rival. The Falcons just beat us playing like a Big 10 team. At this point, I'm emotionally checked out until they get rid of both Allen and Carr. This team isn't worth getting mad over.
-
Quite frankly, I’m rooting for a tie.  Joshua Dobbs is looking to continue the amazing start to his Vikings career against Justin Fields and the Bears on “Monday Night Football”.  Updates to come.

The Bears beat the Vikings, 12-10.
-
I have no words to describe my disappointment right now.  An arrest warrant was issued for Bills linebacker Von Miller for an alleged assault of a pregnant woman in Dallas.

-
I hope the Lions can win big enough to get your coach fired, Cade. It sounds like hell in Nawlins

The Swifties are not going to be happy about this.  Travis Kelce’s wild lateral for a potential go-ahead touchdown in the final minutes was nullified by an offsides penalty in the Chiefs’ 20-17 loss to the Bills.  The Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes smashed his helmet on the sideline and was held back by his teammates after the referees nullified the touchdown.

-
As a fan of the team I'm 1 of many unhappy fans seeing the results of the game as much as it pains me I'm moving on to next week and the beat down that awaits a terrible Patriots team on Monday night

-
				Go Cowboys!!!

-
Are you ready for a doubleheader?  We’re getting double the “Monday Night Football”.  The Packers are playing the Giants.  The Titans are playing the Dolphins.  On top of all that, we have Peyton Manning and Eli Manning doing their broadcast.  Updates to come.

The Giants beat the Packers, 24-22.  (What a thriller tonight in East Rutherford!)
The Titans beat the Dolphins, 28-27.
-
Sunday was the first time since my early childhood I did not watch the Saints. This team has emotionally burnt me out to the point I just don't care if they win or lose. I'm not wasting my time next year if they bring back Dennis Allen and Carr.

-
Maybe you need to become a KC fan we may not be doing too hot lately but we are the defending champs with a shot at another title

I'll root for the Cowboys before I ever bandwagon the Chiefs after that childish temper tantrum from Mahomes and Reid the other day.

				Fair enough

I don’t care who you root for, that was brutal!  It was a historic night on “Thursday Night Football” as the Raiders thrashed the Chargers, 63-21, to mark the first time since 1972 multiple teams scored 60 or more points in a game in one season.

-
I’m with Richard Sherman when he said they trigger should have been pulled at halftime.  According to Adam Schefter, the Chargers fired head coach Brandon Staley and general manager Tom Telesco.

-
What a thriller today in Cincinnati!  The Bengals’ Tee Higgins made the catch of the year by racing to snag the ball, then extending backward to cross the goal line for the absurd touchdown.  The Bengals beat the Vikings, 27-24, in overtime.

-
I’m with Richard Sherman when he said they trigger should have been pulled at halftime.  According to Adam Schefter, the Chargers fired head coach Brandon Staley and general manager Tom Telesco.

They could've had Sean Payton and passed on him to keep Staley.
-
I was cracking up when I saw this live.  Broncos head coach Sean Payton erupted on Russell Wilson after an offside penalty nullified a touchdown in a 42-17 loss to the Lions.

-
Thank you Detroit now KC has some breathing room

-
Excuse me if I can’t contain my glee.  The Bears nearly pulled off an improbable win over the Browns, but Darnell Mooney couldn’t secure the catch on a Hail Mary in the end zone in a 20-17 loss.

As a Lions fan, this game is very important to me.  The Eagles are playing the Seahawks on “Monday Night Football”.  The Seahawks are on a seven-game win streak against the Eagles.  Updates to come.

I know this is Christmas, but should people be giving away gifts like the Chiefs are?  The Raiders scored two defensive touchdowns in seven seconds, including a pick-six off a mistake from Patrick Mahomes.  Updates to come.

The Raiders beat the Chiefs, 20-14.
-
Choo Choo! I heard there's a troll train, but apparently it's stuck at the station in KC. Merry Christmas!

-
For the record I'm not happy so I'm moving on to the next game (Raiders still suck)

-
This Christmas, we’re being gifted a potential Super Bowl preview.  The Ravens are playing the 49ers on “Monday Night Football”. These teams are the top seeds in the AFC and NFC, respectively.  The Ravens’ Lamar Jackson is 4-2 on “Monday Night Football”.  Updates to come.

The Ravens beat the 49ers, 33-19.

I am so excited for this game!  The Cowboys are hosting the Lions riding a 15-game home winning streak, the longest active streak in the NFL.  Updates to come.

UPDAYE:  This one hurts my heart.  It was a wild ending in the Lions vs. Cowboys game as Taylor Decker’s two-point conversion with 23 seconds left was negated by a penalty and the Lions’ third attempt failed in a 20-19 loss.
-
If it makes you feel better refs getting roasted for the blown calls and stupid penalties things will change after winter meetings where the competition committee will make changes

-
If it makes you feel better refs getting roasted for the blown calls and stupid penalties things will change after winter meetings where the competition committee will make changes

One can only hope.  The officiating has been questionable at best this season across the league.  But knowing the NFL, nothing will happen.
-
The refs didn't cost us that game.

Campbell going for it on 4th down several times and failing, is what lost it. Should've took the field goals and we wouldn't have needed a TD on the last drive. Better yet, why not trust the defense in overtime? They were playing well.

 Blaming refs is for losers.

Oh yes, more stupid rule changes will completely fix this.  ::)

This week is do or die.  The top-seeded Ravens are trying to play spoiler against the Steelers, who need help to make the playoffs.  Updates to come.

The Steelers beat the Ravens, 17–10.
-
This game will either make a fan base very happy or very sour for a year.  It’s win or go home as the Texans and Colts clash with the winner heading to the postseason and the loser heading to the offseason.  Updates to come.

The Texans beat the Colts, 23-19.
-
The next 24-48 hours will be very telling.  Bill Belichick shared a moment with the Jets’ Aaron Rodgers as Belichick exited the field for what could be the final time as Patriots head coach and de facto general manager after a 17-3 loss.

-
Half of the playoff picture is filled in and it is full of familiar faces.  There will be several reunions in the NFC playoffs.  The Cowboys and head coach Mike McCarthy will meet the Packers on Jan. 14 in Arlington, Texas.  Matthew Stafford and the Rams will visit Jared Goff and the Lions on Jan. 14 in Detroit.  The Buccaneers will host the Eagles on Jan. 15 in Tampa, Fla.  The 49ers have a first-round bye.  This comes after the Cowboys beat the Commanders, 38-10; the Packers beat the Bears, 17-9; the Rams beat the 49ers, 21-20; the Lions beat the Vikings, 30-20; the Buccaneers beat the Panthers, 9-0; and the Eagles lost to the Giants, 27-10.

UPDATE:  While the Ravens sit out the first round, the rest of the AFC will be extremely exciting.  The Dolphins will play the Chiefs on Saturday in Kansas City, Mo.  The Browns will play the Texans on Saturday in Houston.  The Steelers will play the Bills on Sunday in Orchard Park, N.Y.  This comes after the Bills beat the Dolphins, 21-14; and the Chiefs beat the Chargers, 13-12.
-
It is now past midnight after the final Sunday of the NFL season, meaning it is now Black Monday.  According to Adam Schefter, the Falcons fired head coach Arthur Smith after finishing with a 7-10 record this season following a 48-17 loss to the Saints.

-
I saw this coming from a mile away.  According to Adam Schefter, the Commanders fired head coach Ron Rivera after a 4-13 season.

-
Too bad the Saints are keeping Dennis Allen so they will waste yet another year in mediocre purgatory.

All summer, all I heard was the endless hype about them having the easiest schedule ever and how Carr was supposed to be some massive upgrade. 9-8 and no playoffs with the worst salary cap situation in the league. This team is OK with being just good enough to hover around 8-9 wins and considers that a success.

I am glad they aren't in the playoffs. They were having to rely on GB or Seattle to lose, which means they would've got a ticket to Dallas to get skullfucked by the Cowboys.
-
There goes another one.  According to Adam Schefter, the Titans fired head coach Mike Vrabel.

-
Go Dolphins and most of all GO COWBOYS!!!

-
We’re coming up on the end of an era in Seattle.  According to Adam Schefter, vice president of football operations Pete Carroll is expected to be out as Seahawks head coach, but could remain with the team in a different capacity.

-
We’re coming up on the end of an era in Foxborough.  According to Adam Schefter and Mike Reiss, the Patriots and head coach and de facto general manager Bill Belichick are expected to part ways today after 24 seasons and six Super Bowl titles.

-
These guys knew exactly who they wanted to take over.  According to Adam Schefter, the Patriots hired inside linebackers coach Jerod Mayo as their next head coach.  Mayo became the youngest head coach in the NFL at 37.

-
Got an old neighbor friend from way back that is a big Patriots fan he's ready to jump off a cliff over this not to worry I talked him down he's fine got him a nice padded room for the weekend and a sweet white jacket that straps up in the back he just needs some hot chocolate to keep warm and calm his nerves over the news

-
Firing Belichick just cause the media constantly hammers him for a few bad years, was incredibly stupid.

This is like arguing the Steelers should've got rid of Chuck Knoll in the 80s when they fell on some hard years.

Just look at the Saints without Sean Payton. This could and potentially will easily blow up in Kraft's face.
-
It isn’t an NFL season until Buffalo is snowed in.  The NFL and New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced the Steelers vs. Bills game in Orchard Park, N.Y., has been moved to 4:30 p.m. on Monday due to weather.

-
Bills mafia can still go to the stadium to shovel snow off the field if they want after a plea from team ownership

-
Is this Bills mafia in the room with us right now?

-
I am quite unhappy with this game so far.  The Cowboys are down big, trailing the Packers, 27-7, at halftime as the Cowboys’ Dak Prescott has two interceptions with a pick-six by the Packers’ Darnell Savage.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Well, this stinks!  The Cowboys were routed by the Packers, 48-32.  The Packers’ Jordan Love had three touchdowns and Aaron Jones had three touchdowns.  The Cowboys allowed the most points in a playoff game in franchise history.  The Packers will play the 49ers on Saturday in Santa Clara, Calif.
-
I'm having a great weekend yay KC wins not to worry I will troll Dallas fans in my thread later I've got some personal stuff to handle first I'm still rooting for Detroit since an old friend of mine is from Michigan and he went a little off the rails last week with the chip the Wolverines came away with so lets keep the momentum going

-
No one cares about Dallas except you dude. The Lions just won a playoff game, so this is what it feels like to actually win one. Cheers 313

-
Congrats to the fellow Michigan-Detroit fans. Fortune smiles upon you this year.

As for Dallas, I don't know what fans there are to troll. Their old timers (AKA the real fans who are all in their 40s and older now) seen this loss coming miles away. It's not like they don't have a long winding history of disappointments in the playoffs now for nearly 30 years. It is funny seeing them get blown out by a 9-8 team who came out hungry and wanted to prove themselves.

The Texans really impressed me. They were a 3-13 team last year, and have turned it around with a rookie QB who looks like the real deal, and won a playoff game. That makes for a successful season for sure. People wonder why I want the Saints to tank for a QB and rebuild, now I can just point to the Texans for my argument. CJ Stroud is the first rookie QB in a while I've been super impressed by.

-
No one cares about Dallas except you dude. The Lions just won a playoff game, so this is what it feels like to actually win one. Cheers 313

Cheers, FE!  *clanks a Pepsi with the drink of your choice* The division title and playoff game win droughts are done and I couldn’t be happier.  Next up, the league title!
-
I have great interest in this game.  The Eagles are playing the Buccaneers in the NFC Wild-Card Playoffs.  The Eagles lost five of their last six.  Updates to come.

The Buccaneers beat the Eagles, 32-9, to advance to play the Lions on Sunday in Detroit.
-
I hope this is not the end of a Hall of Fame career.  Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin abruptly walked out of his news conference before a reporter could finish their question about his future after a 31-17 loss to the Bills.  The Bills will play the Chiefs on Sunday in Orchard Park, N.Y.

-
I hope he is doing better now.  According to TMZ, Colts owner, chairman and CEO Jim Irsay was found unresponsive and struggling to breathe at his home in December 2023.

-
After the way this season went after Halloween, this seems like a good deal.  According to Adam Schefter, the Raiders are finalizing a deal to hire interim head coach Antonio Pierce as head coach.

-
Only eight days to Championship Sunday!  The Texans are playing the Ravens in the AFC Divisional Playoffs.  The Ravens’ Lamar Jackson is 1-3 in the playoffs.  The Texans are seeking their first AFC title game.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Prepare for dramatic final 30 minutes.  The Texans and Ravens are tied, 10-10.  Jackson has 52 passing yards and a touchdown.  The Texans had three sacks in the first half.

The Ravens beat the Texans, 34-10.
-
The Niners looked very beatable in that game.

Hats off to the Packers. To be a 9 win team and put the #1 seed on the ropes like that. Jordan Love is the real deal and can improve next year.

Detroit could beat the Niners next week. I'm amazed that they have a superstar RB (McCaffrey) and hate running the ball. Even after he broke off a 40 yard TD run, they just kept passing. GB dropped a few INTs, including one that would've been an easy pick six early in the game. Shanahan still hasn't learned from his biggest mistakes with the 28-3 SB loss and the one to the Chiefs where they kept passing with a 10 point lead.
-
I am loving life!  The Lions’ magic is continuing after the used a big fourth quarter to beat the Buccaneers, 31-23, to advance to their first NFC title game since the 1991 season against the 49ers on Jan. 28 in Santa Clara, Calif.

-
And then there were four.  Bills kicker Tyler Bass missed a game-tying field goal as the Chiefs booked a sixth straight trip to the AFC Championship Game with a 27-24 win to play the Ravens on Jan. 28 in Baltimore.

-
I can’t wait for the draft to come to Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza!  Mel Kiper Jr.’s first 2024 mock draft is here.  He has quarterback going 1-2-3, seven wide receivers in the first round and the SEC leads the way with 10 picks.  Here are the 32 picks.

 1.  USC quarterback Caleb Williams to the Bears via the Panthers
 2.  LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels to the Commanders
 3.  North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye to the Patriots
 4.  Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Cardinals
 5.  Georgia tight end Brock Bowers to the Chargers
 6.  LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers to the Giants
 7.  Notre Dame offensive lineman Joe Alt to the Titans
 8.  Alabama linebacker Dallas Turner to the Falcons
 9.  Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze to the Bears
 10.  Penn State offensive lineman Olu Fashanu to the Jets
 11.  Clemson cornerback Nate Wiggins to the Vikings

 18.  Alabama offensive lineman JC Latham to the Bengals

 24.  Arizona offensive lineman Jordan Morgan to the Cowboys
 25.  BYU offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia to the Packers
 26.  Penn State defensive end Chop Robinson to the Buccaneers
 27.  Oklahoma offensive lineman Tyler Guyton to the Cardinals via the Texans
 28.  Texas wide receiver Adonai Mitchell to the Bills
 29.  Oregon wide receiver Troy Franklin to the Chiefs
 30.  Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell to the Lions
 31.  Missouri defensive back Ennis Rakestraw Jr. to the Ravens
 32.  Georgia offensive lineman Amarius Mims to the 49ers
-
Do not worry about me, I will be okay.  According to Adam Schefter, Jim Harbaugh is leaving as the head coach at Michigan to accept the same job with the Chargers.

-
I'm only a little worried since Harbaugh is notorious for turning teams around fast hopefully it will take some time with this crew I want a few more chips before Mahomeboy gets old

-
Harbaugh is also notorious for not building that 49ers team everyone gives him credit for. And they didn't win a SB either despite all the credit he gets. Check out his drafts during those years too and it becomes revealing why that team bombed so hard after he left.

I'd be more worried about Sean Payton turning Denver around. Harbaugh hasn't coached in nearly a decade and his last year at SF wasn't exactly great. The media treats him like he's Bill Walsh reincarnated, meanwhile Kyle Shanahan and his own brother have accomplished more than him in the NFL. I might as well also add how he needed a cheating scandal at Michigan to finally win something there.

I won't be surprised if the Chargers go 8-9 next year. He won't last there more than 4 years before burning out like he does everywhere he goes.
-
Will this be the move that gets the team back above mediocrity?  According to Adam Schefter, the Falcons are planning to hire Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris as their head coach.

-
Okay now I'm annoyed all the so called experts and sports analysts are predicting a Ravens/49ers super bowl they won't even give my guys a chance at a repeat plus they aren't showing Detroit any love for getting this far I'm all for a KC/Detroit super bowl I've wanted that for a long time I'm just waiting for the clocks to hit 0 and the games are over so we know who's fighting for the chip I'm still working on a bet with an old friend who's a Detroit fan just gotta find the right thing he will agree to when he loses I'm looking at him wearing a jersey of da bears and posting it on social media just a question of who

-
This story seems familiar.  The Chiefs beat the Ravens, 17-10, to go to the Super Bowl on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas.  The Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce led the way.  The Ravens committed two fourth-quarter turnovers.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  This feels so surreal, but I love it!  It feels like it’s really happening as the Lions dominated the first half and opened a 24-7 lead over the 49ers as they look to reach their first Super Bowl.

UPDATE 2:  Oh, come on!  The 49ers’ Brandon Aiyuk made an incredible grab after it ricocheted off a defender’s face mask to set up his touchdown catch.

UPDATE 3:  Nothing will tarnish this incredible season for me.  The 49ers reached the Super Bowl against the Chiefs on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas by overcoming the largest halftime deficit in conference championship history at 17 with a 34-31 win over the Lions.
-
Imagine landing one of the assistants from your biggest rival to lead you into the future.  According to Adam Schefter, the Commanders are hiring Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn as their next head coach.

-
When the time comes, this man will get a knock at his door.  Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson named the AP NFL MVP for the second time in his career.  He is the 11th player to win multiple MVPs.

-
I love when teams go deep into the playbook.  The 49ers dug deep into their bag of tricks with a double pass as Jauan Jennings connected with Christian McCaffrey for the first touchdown of Super Bowl LVIII.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Somebody is truly in her NFL fan era.  Taylor Swift chugged her drink when she was shown on the Jumbotron during a break in first-half action in Super Bowl LVIII.

UPDATE 2:  Welcome to clutch time.  The Chiefs are trying to become the first repeat Super Bowl champs since the 2003-04 Patriots, leading, 13-10, entering the fourth quarter.

UPDATE 3:  Who wants more football?  The Chiefs’ Harrison Butker drilled a 29-yard field goal to send the game to overtime tied, 19-19.

UPDATE 4:  What a thriller tonight in Las Vegas!  Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs on a drive completed with a touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman in overtime to win Super Bowl LVIII, 25-22, and repeat as champs.  Now, somebody play “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)” by the Beastie Boys or “Swag Surfin” by Fast Life Yungstaz!
-
Way ahead of you  there I've got "fight for your right to party" on a loop I'm not blasting it in my hood but everybody around here is happy

49ers played a great game and made us work for it but that chip is looking good looking forward to seeing it in the teams trophy case now let's see if we can scrub more patriots records out of the books with a nice 3 peat next year in the big easy
