It always amazes me when baseball comes back because it feels like last season just ended. Major League Baseball is back as the preseason starts today in Sarasota, Fla. Let this be your home for news and notes from around the diamond all season long.

I knew it was not going to be long until we got a huge fight this season. The Angels’ Jorge Soler charged the mound after nearly being hit by a pitch, leading to punches flying from both teams in a 7-2 loss to the Braves.
