Somebody will make history in a few moments.  The Heisman Trophy ceremony is on right now.  Who will take home college football’s most prestigious individual honor?  Updates to come.

Finally, the road to the national title truly begins.  The College Football Playoff is starting now as No. 9 Alabama plays No. 8 Oklahoma.  The winner will play Indiana on Jan. 1, 2026 in Pasadena, Calif.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Does Oklahoma have a rally in them?  Alabama scored 27 unanswered points to take a 27-17 lead over the Sooners entering the fourth quarter.

UPDATE 2:  Everything is coming up Roses.  Alabama upset Oklahoma, 34-24, in the first round of the CFP and will face Indiana in the quarterfinals.
