At least he got to be in the new Top Gun (which really lived up to the hype—upstaging the original in my view.)

I liked the new Top Gun better than the original too.

I loved Kilmer in 'Heat' where he played Chris. The only surviving member of Neil's crew.

Loretta Swit, best known as Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan on M*A*S*H has passed away at 87

Jonathan Joss, best known as the voice of John Redcorn on King Of The Hill, was shot and killed in San Antonio this morning. He was 59.

It's a sad week for music legends. Two days after Sly Stone's death, Brian Wilson left today. Both were 82.

Now this one hurts me my mom loved the Beach boys and the harmonies they developed over the decades with some classic songs I would play their music in my ride on long trips just to make them feel shorter and think about being on a warm beach somewhere else during a cold winter those trips will never be the same again
