Spider-Man on PS4 - Discussion Thread *MAJOR LEAGUE SPOILERS*

There's no full on video game topic, but as soon as there is I'd guess the game will be spoken of there as well, but no spoilers.

So here...spoiler it up.

 So yeah, final warning, Spoilers will be spoken of freely in this thread as if everyone reading has finished the game.

First off, this game might be the best super hero game of all time. Yes...better than the Arkham series. That's a big thing for me to say, but it's true. Just from the story alone. This has the single best adaptation of Dr. Octopus EVER. And then it had the balls to do what most would consider unthinkable but has honestly been needed in the books for a while...but they killed Aunt May and it was such a great moment I could never have seen coming.

The game play is insane as well. What's been there before, yes, but done so much better than before with I believe vastly improved combat, better than anything previous.

The amount of costumes playable and the customization of them was also just top notch.

The one flaw I'd give has to do with the White Spider costume. Not it's design, but in story...it IS designed by Octavius. SO when he turns, ti does seem odd for Peter to keep wearing it.

That's my one complaint, and it's nitpicky at that.

Anyone excited about the new suits in the last DLC coming out next Friday? And are you one of those people upset about no Sam Raimi Spider-Man suit? I personally don't care that Sam Raimi's suit isn't in the game. Its not a deal breaker for me, but some people on social media are cry babies about it and need to calm the fuck down.

I heard and I hope its true... I hope we don't get some suits only related to Fantastic Four. Most people have already beaten the game several times. What would be the point of adding in new suits? Adding a Fantastic Four DLC with Doom as the villain would be lit as fuck!

Out of the 3 DLC, I really enjoyed and liked the Silver Lining. The chemistry between Spider-Man and Silver Sable was great.

The new Spider-Man Fantastic Four related costumes dropped today! Sadly, no full Fantastic Four DLC. I plan on running through Spider-Man again, so its nice to have costume options early in the game.

Who should be the villains in the sequel? My choices:

Mysterio
Kraven
Sandman
Hydro-Man
The Lizard
Green Goblin
The Jackal
Venom
Morbius

Some very good choices... With the way Spider-Man ended, I think we'll be seeing either Green Goblin or Hobgoblin or possible both. A father and son evil duo team up. I can see Venom playing a major role in the next game. I would love to see Kingpin return. He was only in the opening sequence and never seen again outside of his henchmen.

If Hobgoblin shows up I'd rather it be the classic, non-Osborn version.

That version I always loved. Mainly because unlike Norman, he wasn't insane, which made him a whole new kind of danger.

That being said, another villain I'd love to see would be Jack O'Lantern.

Didn't know who Jack O'Lantern was until I looked him up and damn, he looks like a beast. For the second Spider-Man game, I wouldn't mind some guest/supporting superheroes like Fantastic Four, Ironman, or Captain America. With those characters in the game, we could get some guest villains like Dr. Doom or Winter Soldier. I know Miles Morales has to be featured and playable in the next game.
