One of the best rivalries in the NFL is back.  The 2-10 Giants are playing the 5-7 Eagles on Monday Night Football.  The Eagles are 7-1 against the Giants on MNF.  The Giants’ Eli Manning is making his first start since Week 2.  Updates to come.

History is on the line.  The 6-7 Colts are playing the 10-3 Saints on Monday Night Football.  The Saints’ Drew Brees needs three passing touchdowns to pass Peyton Manning.  The Colts will be eliminated with a loss.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  That is one for the record books.  Brees threw his 540th touchdown to pass Manning for No. 1 on the all-time passing touchdown list and celebrated with his teammates and blew kisses to his family afterwards.

There were high expectations going into the season and now that they underperformed, change was inevitable.  According to Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen, the Browns fired head coach Freddie Kitchens after a 6-10 season and a 33-23 loss to the Bengals.

So much talent is on this team but they continue to underperform.  According to Adam Schefter, the Giants will fire head coach Pat Shurmur, who went 9-23 in two seasons.

It is time to move on.  According to Ed Werder, the Cowboys decided that Jason Garrett will not be part of their future after nine seasons as full-time head coach.

Welcome to the postseason.  The 10-6 Bills are playing the 10-6 Texans in the AFC Wild Card game.  The Texans have a 69 percent chance to win according to the Football Power Index.  The Bills' last playoff win came in 1995.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  We couldn't get this game decided in 60 minutes so now we need bonus football.  The Bills and Texans are heading to overtime with the game tied at 19 in a wild card game.

UPDATE 2:  You have to wonder if this is the last ride for TB12.  The Titans ended the Patriots' season at Gillette Stadium with a 20-13 win.  The Titans' Derrick Henry had 182 rushing yards and a touchdown and they will play the Ravens on Jan. 11 in Baltimore.  The Patriots suffered their first home playoff loss since 2012.  Because of this game, the Texans will play the Chiefs on Jan. 12 in Kansas City, Mo.

Now he's out of a job?  According to Fox Sports, the Cowboys officially informed Jason Garrett that he will not be returning as head coach.

Let's see if this will improve things in Big D.  According to Fox Sports, the Cowboys are expected to hire former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy to the same position.

I feel like somebody's fortunes are about to change.  Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa announced he will enter the NFL draft.  Tagovailoa is Mel Kiper Jr.'s No. 12 overall prospect.

This is quite the upgrade.  According to Yahoo Sports, the Panthers are going to hire Baylor Bears head coach Matt Rhule to the same position.

Don't worry, I'm scratching my head over this one, too.  According to Adam Schefter, the Giants are finalizing a deal to make Patriots special teams coordinator and wide receivers coach Joe Judge their next head coach.

This job feels like looking for a Spinal Tap drummer.  According to NFL Network, the Browns plan to hire Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski as head coach.
