That is a very tough question cause it's 2 different mediums. Games don't exactly translate well to movies, and vice versa. A movie is something you watch and a game is something you play.

I mentioned Reservoir Dogs yesterday. There is a weird game adaption to that movie. It actually follows the movie, but has to drag out every story arc to make it a playable video game. It's a mess and you can find plenty of retro gamers on Youtube reviewing it for how bad it is. The Godfather game did something similar with re-writing the film scenes, but it was done to put the game's Gary Stu customizable protagonist in various movie scenes to make the player more important than the actual characters.

Last year I was trying to determine if it was possible to make a fun game based on Godzilla. I came to believe it's next to impossible, mainly cause Rampage exists and Godzilla is more fun to watch than play a game. This is my example of how some movies just don't translate well to games.

A good example of a game that I believe is better than the movie is Blade Runner. It was turned into a point and click game based on the world of the movie and I find it more interesting. The actual story in Blade Runner isn't as interesting as playing in that world.

I am going to go with Terminator 1 and 2 as my picks. They've been adapted into games with limited success. This trailer a few months ago gives me hope for T2, cause it looks really fun.
