It’s time for some football again.  After a long wait following an exhilarating season last year, the preseason kicks off tonight in Canton, Ohio.  Have fun, everybody!

Football is almost back!  The preseason will kick off soon with the Texans against the Bears.  Updates to come.

Not a fan of the new kickoff rule change. It looked ridiculous and pretty much eliminates onside kicks.

I know this story involves college football, but the man is in the NFL, so I will talk about it here.  The NCAA announced a four-year show-cause order for Chargers head coach and former Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh.

After his incredible season last year at Michigan, this breaks my heart.  According to Adam Schefter, Vikings rookie quarterback J. J. McCarthy is out for the season after surgery on his torn meniscus in his knee revealed a repair is needed.

Back up the Brinks truck!  According to Adam Schefter, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and the Cowboys reached an agreement on a four-year, $136 million deal.  Lamb is the second-highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

I need to compare this to his contract.  According to multiple reports, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce signed a “New Heights” podcast deal with Amazon’s Wondry worth more than $100 million.
