At least the poor guy had a team that wanted him to stay.  Last night, a Rangers fan fell into the netting and spilled his beer after chasing a foul ball on top of the Padres’ dugout and the players didn’t want him ejected.  Updates for today’s game to come.

The Padres beat the Rangers, 3-1.

This fool is never playing baseball again.  Authorities in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, told ESPN that the Rays’ Wander Franco was charged with sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of a minor.  This comes as the Rays beat the Yankees, 5-3.

Time to build for the future.  Who will the Guardians take with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 MLB draft?  Updates to come.  Also, the Guardians lost to the Rays, 2-0.

UPDATE:  This guy has the right combination of power and speed.  The Guardians took Oregon State second baseman Travis Bazzana with the top pick of the MLB draft.  He is the first second baseman to go No. 1 overall in draft history.

If you are in North Texas, watch the skies.  The Home Run Derby is on now.  Mets first baseman Pete Alonso is going for his third title under a brand-new format this year.  Updates to come.

Dodgers center fielder Teoscar Hernández beat Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. in the final, 14-13.

Stand by because things are getting exciting.  The Padres’ Dylan Cease needs three outs against the Nationals to make history with a no-hitter.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  History has been made!  Cease tossed his first career no-hitter and second in franchise history in a 3-0 Padres win over the Nationals.

Honestly, I am not ready to call for upper management to get fired yet.  According to Jeff Passan, the Dodgers acquired Jack Flaherty from the Tigers.  This comes as the Tigers lost to the Guardians, 5-0.  Updates to come.

The Dodgers lost to the Padres, 6-5, in 10 innings.  (What a thriller tonight in San Diego!)

I hate to see this happen.  The Angels’ general manager said Mike Trout is out for the season with another meniscus tear.  Updates to come.

The Angels lost to the Rockies, 5-4, in 10 innings.

We might be getting history soon.  Blake Snell and the Giants are three outs away from no-hitting the Reds.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  What a performance!  Reigning Cy Young winner Snell no-hit the Reds for his first career complete game in a 3-0 Giants win.

I am shocked that this was not a longer ban.  The Red Sox’s Jarren Duran was suspended two games after uttering an anti-gay slur at a fan during Sunday’s game.  Updates to come.

The Red Sox beat the Rangers, 5-4, in 10 innings.  (What a thriller tonight in Boston!)

History has been rewritten.  Yankees superstar Aaron Judge became the fastest player to reach 300 homers in MLB history in a 10-2 win over the White Sox.

That is being a good teammate.  The benches cleared in Philadelphia after the Phillies’ Bryce Harper confronted a Rays pitcher following the plunking of a teammate.  The Phillies beat the Rays, 9-4.

What can this man not do?  The Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani made MLB history by becoming the first player to record 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a season.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  This box score is bonkers!  Ohtani’s monstrous game with three home runs, 10 RBIs and two stolen bases in Miami to establish the 50/50 club will go down in baseball lore as the Dodgers beat the Marlins, 20-4.
