Here is the next of our interviews that we will be conducting with the authors who post their work on Celebrity Story Site.

In this interview, we are talking to Gianni Shamari, about how he got into writing celebrity erotica, who influenced him to write in this genre, and other topics related to his writing.

You can visit his profile here.

1. Where are you from?

I am from the greatest city in the United States: New York City.

2. How did you come up with your pen name, and is there any meaning behind it?

I wanted a unique name, so I combined the late great fashion designer Gianni Versace’s first name with my first name, Shamari – Gianni Shamari. There is no meaning behind it.

3. How long have you been writing celebrity fiction?

I have written celebrity fiction for over twenty years, starting in 2000. I used to keep a journal filled with stories about my celebrity crushes. Then, in 2010, I discovered a social network called Lush Stories. Using the pen name NatureBoy, I posted my first story online and wrote for the site for three years. During that time, I also shared my stories on Literotica under the pen name HarlemKnight. I have been a contributing writer for Bare Back Magazine for over ten years and genuinely enjoy it.

4. Who or what got you started writing erotic fiction?

The book "Letters to Penthouse" inspired me to write erotica. I crafted most of my stories around my all-time favorite celebrity crushes and porn stars. From the start, I wanted my stories to have a unique style compared to what was already published online. I also wanted to name it, so I coined my writing style, 'champagne erotica.' This term refers to fast-paced, cinematic stories that celebrate the champagne lifestyle.

5. Who would you say are your biggest influences as a writer of less than appropriate celeb fiction? Which authors, if any, would have inspired you?

I must say I’m my biggest influence. I love my writing style. It is fast-paced and cinematic. My stories allow the reader to escape to a world where they feel like they are in an action-packed erotic movie or music video.

6. Who are your favourite celeb sex story writers? Past and Present.

At that moment, I don’t have a favorite past or present writer. I’ve been focused on my champagne erotica and sharing it worldwide. However, I look forward to reading the work of all the talented writers on the site.

7. Any favourite sex stories that you've read that made you think - "Wow! That's incredible!"

“Goddess In The Pool” by Cadeauxxx was incredible. It was the first story I read on the site, and I truly enjoyed it. The imagery and writing made me feel like I was part of the scene.

8. Which of your own stories are you the most proud of writing?

I am proud of the first story I posted on the site, "Take You Home With Me," because I received positive feedback from the readers. I wrote the story back in 2011, and it is still one of my favorites. I'm also proud of "The Gold, The Brown & Peeping Maré." It's a classic!

9. Which celebrities do you enjoy writing about the most?

Ruby Rose, Gallienne Nabila, and some of my favorite adult film stars are the celebrities I enjoy writing about the most.

10. What type of sex scenes do you enjoy writing the most?

The scenes I enjoy writing the most are MF, FF, threesome, swinging & swapping, cluster fuck, and creampies.

11. Do you have a routine for how and when you write?

I don't have a set writing routine. I write when I feel inspired and new ideas come to mind. I might start with a few sentences or paragraphs and then add more later.

12. Do you sketch out a plan on paper/word/notes or write off the cuff with a basic idea and let it flow from there?

Yes, I regularly sketch out my ideas and details on paper. First, I develop a concept and brainstorm potential characters. Then, I usually dive right into writing a rough draft. Once the draft is complete, I revise and edit my work to ensure it's polished and well-written. While I sometimes start with an outline, I often prefer to jump straight into writing dialogue for various scenes and thinking of creative ways to describe my characters and themes.

13. Apart from hot celebrities, does anything else influence your writing? Music, Fashion, TV, etc.

Music is an essential aspect of my stories. I listened to rap, R&B, and Soul music while writing scenes set at nightclubs or exclusive parties. Fashion influences my writing because my characters are stylish. They wear the best designer clothes due to their luxury lifestyle. Television shows like Red Shoe Diaries, Dream On, and The Erotic Traveler influenced my storytelling. Additionally, some of my favorite music videos inspired scenes in my stories.

14. Any projects you are working on that you are excited about?

I'm proud that I recently released my first urban fiction novella, “Uptown Flava BK Style,” under my real name. The gripping tale is set in the bustling streets of 1990s New York City and deals with teen and gun violence at a high school. I’m working on a book with my favorite short stories, poetry, and haiku poems.

15. Any tips for readers that may want to start writing celebrity erotic fiction?

Don’t procrastinate. Write your story. Be original, write the stories you love to read, and love the craft. Writing stories based on your personal experiences or erotic dreams could be a start. Enjoy the journey!
