UPDATE:  Please tell me this team is not going back to SOL.  An offensive pass interference on the game’s final play wiped out what would have been a wild Lions touchdown as the Steelers held on for a 29-24 win.

This has to be the biggest game of the week.  The 49ers are playing the Colts on “Monday Night Football”.  The 49ers are still chasing the No. 1 seed.  The Colts need a win to stay in the hunt.  Updates to come.

Who would have thought things would get chippy in the Toilet Bowl?  It got wild as tempers flared in a sideline fight between the Giants and Raiders in the Giants’ 34-10 win.

This might look lopsided on paper, but this might be more fun than people think.  The Rams are playing the Falcons on “Monday Night Football”.  The Rams are fighting for playoff seeding.  The Falcons’ Bijan Robinson leads the NFL in scrimmage yards.  Updates to come.

This is not going to look good.  Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is facing a felony charge of strangulation and a misdemeanor charge of assault stemming from a Dec. 2 incident.

What is going on with this team?  Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore is facing a charge of assault and battery on a household/family member.

It is time to put up or shut up.  There is a Saturday NFL doubleheader with division titles on the line.  The Panthers are playing the Buccaneers right now.  The Seahawks will play the 49ers at 8 p.m.  Updates to come.

The Buccaneers beat the Panthers, 16-14.

UPDATE:  This is going to be quite the fight.  The Seahawks and 49ers are playing in a massive NFL matchup for the NFC West title and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

UPDATE 2:  I was not joking about this game being a fight.  The 49ers are still searching for their first touchdown in an NFC West battle with the division crown at stake and trailing, 10-3.

UPDATE 3:  That is a brutal way to lose.  The 49ers’ Christian McCaffrey bobbled a ball on a near touchdown catch and the Seahawks pounced for a devastating interception to help win the top seed in the NFC, 13-3.

Congratulations, you sucked the most this season!  The Raiders locked up the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL draft after the Giants’ 34-17 win over the Cowboys.  Updates to come.

The Raiders beat the Chiefs, 14-12.

UPDATE:  Time to see where everybody lands in the NFL draft.  I will count this down from the Raiders at No. 1 to the Vikings (who beat the Packers, 16-3) at No. 18.

That game was pure cinema!  The Steelers beat the Ravens, 26-24, to clinch the AFC North and the No. 4 seed and eliminating the Ravens from playoff contention.  The Steelers will play the Texans on Jan. 12 in Pittsburgh.

I watched Staff come up clutch many times here, so this result does not surprise me.  The Rams’ Matthew Stafford tossed an incredible winning touchdown to Colby Parkinson in the final minute to avoid a massive playoff upset against the Panthers, 34-31.

Are we about to see the greatest collapse of all-time?  The Bears are rallying as the NFC North rival Packers are looking to avoid the largest blown lead in a playoff game in franchise history.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Has everybody caught their breath yet?  Caleb Williams and the Bears rallied from 18 down to stun the Packers, 31-27, securing the largest playoff comeback in franchise history.

Let’s see the Eagles try that!  It’s a play you’ve never seen as the Bills nearly pushed Josh Allen into the end zone from 11 yards out in a 27-24 win over the Jaguars.  The Bills will play the Broncos on Saturday in Denver.

Down go the champs!  The 49ers made a late defensive stand and upset the defending champion Eagles, 23-19, in the wild-card round.  The 49ers will play the NFC West rival Seahawks on Saturday in Seattle.

Monday night games don’t get bigger than this.  The Texans are playing the Steelers in playoff “Monday Night Football” game.  The winner will play the Patriots on Sunday in Foxborough, Mass.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Who wants it more?  The Texans lead the Steelers, 7-6, entering the fourth quarter.

UPDATE 2:  Is there a rally left in them?  The Steelers have the ball trailing the Texans, 24-6, with 3:30 left in a wild-card game.
