Oh, come on!  Caleb Williams’ desperation heave saved the Bears’ season and forced overtime against the Rams.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  What a thriller tonight in Chicago!  The Rams booked an NFC title game spot by recovering from the Bears’ miraculous heave to win, 20-17, in overtime.  The Rams will face the NFC West rival Seahawks next on Jan. 25 in Seattle.

This feels familiar.  The Patriots outlasted the Broncos, 10-7, in the snow to advance to their 12th Super Bowl in franchise history on Feb. 8 in Santa Clara, Calif.

I am on the edge of my seat.  The Rams and Seahawks are trading blows in a thriller in Seattle with the winner heading to Super Bowl LX.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  We have a rematch 11 years in the making.  The Seahawks topped the Rams, 31-27, in a thrilling NFC title game to punch their ticket to Super Bowl LX against the Patriots on Feb. 8 in Santa Clara, Calif.

This is shocking to me.  According to Don Van Natta Jr. and Seth Wickersham, North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick, the eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach, is not a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

I should have known this story would get into the sports world.  Newly released emails say convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein connected Giants chairman and executive vice president Steve Tisch with numerous women.

While key members of the Patriots dynasty may be absent, there are still several players who have earned their spot.  Larry Fitzgerald, Luke Kuechly and Drew Brees are highlighting the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame class.

Speaking of the Hall of Fame, here is someone who will be in on the first ballot.  Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was named the AP NFL MVP after leading the league with 4,707 passing yards and 46 touchdowns.

This has been a defensive slugfest.  The Seahawks are shutting out the Patriots, 9-0, at halftime.  The Seahawks’ Kenneth Walker III has 94 rushing yards.  The Patriots have 51 total yards.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Somebody play “Bittersweet Symphony” by The Verve or “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton!  The Seahawks beat the Patriots, 29-13, in Super Bowl LX to capture their second championship.
