Can you tell these guys don’t like each other?  Punches were thrown as the benches cleared in the No. 7 Ole Miss vs. Mississippi State Egg Bowl rivalry.  Updates to come.

Ole Miss beat Mississippi State, 38-19.

Go ahead and rush the field.  Arch Manning and No. 16 Texas handed No. 3 Texas A&M their first loss of the season in a 27-17 upset.

I love an exciting rivalry game.  There is drama in the Iron Bowl as No. 10 Alabama and Auburn at 20-20 with less than 12 minutes to play.  Updates to come.

Alabama beat Auburn, 27-20.

Next time these two teams meet, it will be war.  According to Pete Thamel and Mark Schlabach, LSU is expected to hire Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin the same position today.  This comes as the Tigers lost to No. 8 Oklahoma, 17-13.

He did not want to stay, he wanted the money.  Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin announced he’s leaving for the same position at LSU and said he was “hoping to complete a historic run” with the Rebels.

This brings a smile to my face.  No. 1 Ohio Stare missed a tying field goal in the final minutes as No. 2 Indiana won their first outright Big Ten title since 1945 in a 13-10 upset.

This is for the hopes of an entire conference’s hopes for the College Football Playoff.  No. 17 Virginia scored a touchdown in the final minute to send the ACC title game against Duke to overtime.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Get ready for two Group of 5 teams in the Playoff.  Duke upset Virginia, 27-20, in overtime to shake up the CFP race and secured their first ACC title game win in school history.

Honestly, this may be the closest race in some time.  Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia, Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love and Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin were named Heisman Trophy finalists.

I am completely floored.  An inappropriate relationship with a Michigan staffer led to head coach Sherrone Moore’s termination.  Associate head coach Biff Poggi was named interim head coach.

UPDATE:  I don’t like where this story is going.  Moore was detained by police in Saline, Mich.

I hate every aspect of this story.  According to Dan Wetzel, no decision is expected today on charges for former Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore, who remains in custody.

This story gets more and more disturbing.  Ex-Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore was charged with felony third-degree home invasion and misdemeanor stalking and breaking and entering.
