Watch your head!  Timberwolves star Anthony Davis pulled off one of his signature nasty slams and celebrated in the defender’s face in a 115-107 win over the Raptors.

Some performances are too special to put into words.  The Heat’s Bam Adebayo scored 83 points, the second-most points in a game in NBA history behind Wilt Chamberlain’s 100 in 1962, in a 150-129 win over the Wizards.

This seems to be a season for rewriting the record books.  The Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander broke Wilt Chamberlain’s record with 127 consecutive games scoring at least 20 points.  Updates to come.

Oooof!  The Thunder handed the Lakers’ LeBron James the second-largest loss of James’ career, 139-96, as the Lakers’ Luka Dončić went down with a hamstring injury.

This was the type of performance everyone expected when he was drafted.  The Mavericks’ Cooper Flagg made tons of NBA history in a 134-128 win over the Lakers, becoming the first rookie to score 40 points against LeBron James, recording the most 40-point games by a teenager and scoring 98 points in Flagg’s last two games.

This is how you know you are a dominant player.  Spurs forward Victor Wembanyama was named the first unanimous NBA Defensive Player of the Year award winner in league history.

This is the last thing NBA fans wanted this postseason.  Victor Wembanyama hit his face on the court in the first half of the Spurs’ 106-103 loss to the Trail Blazers and was later diagnosed with a concussion.

This rivalry is getting heated.  The Nuggets’ Nikola Jokić took exception to the Timberwolves’ Jaden McDaniels’ late basket, leading to a face-to-face exchange that ended with both ejected in a 112-96 Timberwolves win over their Northwest rivals.

Tensions have been high all postseason.  The Trail Blazers’ Deni Avdija and the Spurs’ Stephon Castle exchanged shoves late in the Spurs’ 114-93 win.

This game is getting out of hand in more ways than one.  The Knicks’ Mitchell Robinson and the Hawks’ Dyson Daniels were ejected after tempers flared amidst a 50-point blowout during a historic first half.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  It just will not stop!  The Knicks have refused to slow down as they built a simply absurd 47-point lead going into the second half against the Hawks in Game 6.

UPDATE 2:  Mercifully, this game is over.  The Knicks set a franchise record for points in a playoff game and dominated the Hawks, 140-89, to reach the second round.

I get the feeling these teams hate each other.  The Nuggets’ Nicola Jokić sent the Timberwolves’ Jaylen Clark to the floor and multiple players got involved during a heated moment in the fourth quarter.  Updates to come.
