Duke beat Siena, 71-65, to advance to play TCU on Saturday in Greenville, S.C.
No. 6 Louisville beat No. 11 South Florida, 83-79, to advance to play on Saturday in Buffalo, N.Y., against No. 3 Michigan State, who beat No. 14 North Dakota State, 92-67.
No. 12 High Point upset No. 5 Wisconsin, 83-82, to advance to play on Saturday in Portland, Ore., against No. 4 Arkansas, who beat No. 13 Hawaii, 97-78.
UPDATE 3: How could you not love this time of the year? No. 11 VCU’s Terrence Hill Jr. hit a go-ahead three in overtime to seal the Rams’ wild comeback upset over No. 6 North Carolina, 82-78. The Rams advanced to play on Saturday in Greenville, S.C., against No. 3 Illinois, who beat No. 14 Penn, 105-70.
No. 1 Michigan beat No. 16 Howard, 101-80, to advance to play on Saturday in Buffalo, N.Y., against No. 9 Saint Louis, who upset No. 8 Georgia, 102-77.
No. 11 Texas upset No. 6 BYU, 79-71, to advance to play on Saturday in Portland, Ore., against No. 3 Gonzaga, who beat No. 14 Kennesaw State, 73-64.
No. 10 Texas A&M upset No. 7 Saint Mary’s, 63-50, to advance to play on Saturday in Oklahoma City against No. 2 Houston, who beat No. 15 Idaho, 78-47.
