Hey, I’ve seen this one before.  No. 2 UConn beat No. 3 Illinois, 71-62, to reach their third men’s championship game in the past four seasons.

UPDATE:  Only one more win and I can celebrate.  No. 1 Michigan beat No. 1 Arizona, 91-73, matching the largest men’s tournament win in a game featuring No. 1 seeds.  The Wolverines will face UConn for the title on Monday in Indianapolis.

Excuse me as I touch the sky!  No. 1 Michigan beat No. 2 UConn, 69-63, to capture the program’s second men’s NCAA title and first since 1989.

UPDATE:  It is time to glance into the future.  ESPN put out their way-too-early Top 25.  Can anyone top Michigan in their first 2026-27 lookahead?  Here are the full rankings.
