It is finally showtime!  The NFL is back as the preseason kicks off with the Panthers playing the Cardinals.  Updates to come.

Since the site has been having problems the last couple of days, I’m trying to play catch-up.  If you have the time watch the Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony from yesterday as Larry Fitzgerald, Drew Brees, Luke Kuechly, Roger Craig and Adam Vinatieri took their rightful place in Canton, Ohio.

Despite his belief he should be disqualified from Hall of Fame contention, I think he should be in no matter what.  Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson said this will likely be his final season in the NFL.

I wonder who on your favorite team will get the honors.  The NFL is going to allow head coaches to designate a member of the sideline staff to throw the red challenge flag.

Honestly, I would hate to see him go.  CBS Sports president David Berson said there’s “no timetable” on Tony Romo’s future as an analyst after Romo’s arrest.

I will not voice my opinion, just share the news.  Former NFL sideline reporter Michele Tafoya won the GOP Senate primary in Minnesota.

This divorce is going to be messy.  Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels sent a cease-and-desist letter to LSU, informing the school it can no longer use his name, image and likeness.

All this over a number?  LSU cornerback DJ Pickett said he has no plans to change out of the No. 5 amid pushback from Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.

This is going to be a fun night for the preseason.  The Packers are playing the Steelers right now.  The Cardinals will play the Raiders tonight at 8 p.m.  The Titans will play the 49ers tonight at 9 p.m.  Updates to come.

I am honestly surprised he took that job in the first place.  According to Front Office Sports, ESPN analyst Troy Aikman will face some restrictions ahead of “Monday Night Football” broadcasts due to his role as a Dolphins consultant.  Updates to come.

The Dolphins lost to the Commanders, 20-7.

Will somebody clean up the union?  Ex-NFLPA attorney Heather McPhee settled a federal lawsuit with the union over alleged retaliation.

This should be an exciting night.  The preseason continues tonight with the Buccaneers playing the Jets and the Broncos playing the Falcons.  Updates to come.

It's another exciting day for football.  The NFL preseason is continuing with games worth watching.  The Vikings are playing the Giants and the Broncos are playing the Bears right now.  The Cowboys will play the Seahawks tonight at 8 p.m.  Updates to come.

Perhaps this will be the last stop before Canton.  According to multiple sources, six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Keenan Allen agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $8.32 million with the Colts.
