What is something about you that your friends IRL would be surprised about?

Aside from, you know, the celeb smut thing.

For me,it might be how much I like pop music, in particular Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez. And the sense I actually have the same kind of well thought out opinions on them as I do my favorie hard rock, metal, or punk bands.

If they saw I had both of them among my vinyl collection, I might get a few shocked faces.

It's always my original career path and when I tell them I went to college to become a journalist. People absolutely don't believe it, I'm often asked why I haven't pursued a musical career in any sorts back home in New Orleans. I've always figured this is because I've never had a job involving journalism, so it must be hard for people to believe.

I used to watch soaps a lot in high school. General Hospital was my favorite.

This may seem weird, but I find soaps to be an interesting source of entertainment on human interaction. They influence me with plots and writing dialogue in stories. I have never been able to really put into words how they pull my attention in, but they do. I could watch them for hours, even the real boring ones.

General Hospital is the only one I watch haha. Back in the 90's it was The Bold and the Beautiful and One Life To Live, which was my favorite until they cancelled it. I don't know what really draws me to watching. Most of the women are really gorgeous on that show, so that helps haha.
