Here's your question for the night: What are your 2026 pop culture predictions?
I've got 10 incredibly half assed predictions this year!
1. Grunge returns (I told y'all I was predicting it every year, no matter how many times I get this wrong).
2. The curiosity factor causes Avengers: Doomsday to be a hit, but the response from the audience is "the magic is gone", which puts Marvel in a 'do or die' spot for the next big MCU movie.
3. Speaking of Marvel (this time the comics), the X-Men line continues it's weird trajectory with big, underwhelming events interrupting the stories arcs being told and generally leaving a bad taste in people's mouths, but the actual non-event main comics are good enough to keep people around (bonus prediction: that panel of a sleepy Calico calling Rogue 'momma' goes viral a few more times with the same reaction of people being confused by how Rogue can touch and by how Rogue and Gambit have a blonde daughter every time).
3. One last Marvel related prediction: X-Men 97 season 2 is good, which causes a bunch of annoying debate around who deserves credit.
4. AEW continues to knock it out of the park when it comes to signing new wrestlers now that their looking more for people who fit the promotion rather than people the WWE fumbled.
5. After the year she's had, Sydney Sweeney decides to start back at square one, which means more topless scenes.
6. Another GTA 6 delay.
7. At least one celebrity develops AI psychosis.
8. Mid-Budget movies slowly come back.
9. The lost media youtube community slows down now that Me and My Friends has been found.
10. Wrestling fans will become even more insufferable!

For my predictions I'm going to keep my expectations low and see what happens

I've got a list of the recent celeb weddings so I'll say most of them survive 1 year I figure the ones with babies in the mix will last longer but I'm sure a few might derail after the honeymoon phase but for this I'll spotlight Selena Gomez, Hailee Steinfeld, and Taylor Swift the rest I'll keep track of and see where I'm at next year

For football I would like another trophy since the league has gone out of their way this year to show the refs weren't on KC's payroll everyone can now shut the hell up and the team can now have a nice extended break after a decade long playoff run we can retool a few things get everyone back healthy for next year get rid of some dead weight and bring in some fresh guys that are motivated to win with the QB class a little thin this year the focus should be line help on both sides

I'm not holding my breath for the movie season I've seen a number of over hyped things fall flat so this year might be light on what I go for which frees me up to be around my fiance

Here's your question for the night: It's the monthly abandoned idea post!
I had this idea about a 2 part story where a celeb gets cast as a hooker and does some research for the role.
She does nothing but watch in the first chapter then, in the second chapter she shows her significant other what she learned why doing research.
I think that could be a pretty fun twist with the audience clearly expecting her to do some hooking of her own.

For my abandoned idea I had this thing where celeb sisters were involved one of them was dating the author yet they always got busted by the sister having sex at all hours no matter where they went the plot twist was the sister liked to watch and sometimes join in depending on the location I could never decide who would make a good pairing so it never got far among the options were Aly & AJ Michalka, Alexandra Daddario and her sister, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Bella Thorne and her sisters, or KIm Kardashian and the rest of them I'm sure something can be done for anyone wanting to take a crack at this have at it

How did 2025 go for you?
Did you accomplish the goals you set for yourself?
I'll be honest, this wasn't my best year, I was hoping I could get more writing done, but my health got in the way a few times and I kinda lost the drive to write for a bit.
Thankfully that's done so hopefully 2026 is gonna be a good year for me.
