Same here. I have a Vida Guerra story I need to finish. I was trying to have it done before her birthday but work has been crazy

Here's your question for the night: It's the next part of the 256 woman tournament!
Round 1 Match 67: Wakana Uehara or Yuki Kamifuku?
Have fun voting!

I'm calling it: with a vote of 1-0, Wakana Uehara advances past Yuki Kamifuku!

Here's your question for the night: It's the monthly abandoned idea post!
If you've got an idea that you just haven't been able to make work, but think that someone else can use, toss it here!
A few years back, I wrote this story about Diane Guerrero, the setting of the story was a post apocalyptic America where celebrities became warlords, I've always wanted to revisit that setting, but I could never settle on an idea I really like, so if anyone else wants to run with this particular ball, you're more than welcome to.

I had a similar idea but I was going to use a silo bunker but I could never decide on who was going to be in it

For my abandoned idea I had this college campus thing where the author was a student and the celeb was living off campus offering tutor lessons in various subjects for sex I could never decide who the celeb was but the plot was solid given the number of celebs that have awards it can't be that hard to imagine Natalie Portman or Anne Hathaway giving tips on how to land an Oscar or Taylor Swift giving piano lessons for an aspiring Grammy winner

Here's your question for the night: It's the monthly writer check-in!
How did March go for you?
Did you accomplish whatever goals you set for yourself?
I managed to get some writing done, but not as much as I wanted.

Here's your question for the night (From Cadeauxxx, thanks!): What is a movie that you consider to be overrated, but also enjoy?
I'm going with The Big Lebowski for this, there are people who treat the movie (both ironically and unironically) as a damn near religious text rather than just being a really fucking good movie.

For me this screams Titanic I don't think it needed to get as many Oscars as it did I think 4 max would have been a solid showing the only thing that saves it  is Kate Winslet and her golden globes

Gonna go with Oldboy (2003). It's a decent action movie with some great moments, but overall, I don't understand why everyone treats it like the best action movie of all time.
