The guy might have a screw loose and I love it!  Pat McAfee made a must-see pick for the Florida vs. No. 4 Miami (Fla.) game by jumping off a high dive.  Updates to come.

Miami (Fla.) beat Florida, 26-7.

I love an exciting finish.  No. 8 Florida State has the ball trailing Virginia, 35-28, with two minutes left.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  College football is fun.  Virginia upset Florida State in double-overtime of a 46-38 thriller.  This is the Cavaliers’ sixth all-time win against a Top 10 opponent.

Maybe it is a good thing Cade is not watching football this year.  No. 4 LSU is staring at a 17-7 halftime deficit against No. 13 Ole Miss.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Time to see who steps up.  LSU has 11 minutes to come back from a 24-13 deficit against Ole Miss.

UPDATE 2:  I did think this team would be shut down with such efficiency.  LSU only put together 254 yards of total offense in their first loss of the season as Ole Miss pulled off a big 24-19 upset.

Do rivalries get any bigger than this?  No. 5 Georgia is putting their 33-game home win streak on the line in a huge SEC showdown against No. 17 Alabama in their first meeting in Athens, Ga., since 2015.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  Get to a TV now!  Georgia has the ball trailing Alabama, 24-21, with 8:10 to play in an SEC showdown.

UPDATE 2:  I need a broom and dust pan to clean up the mess when the new poll arrives.  Two more Top 5 teams fell.  No. 6 Oregon upset No. 3 Penn State in the second overtime, 30-24.  Alabama upset Georgia, 24-21.

I hope he is okay.  A No. 10 Alabama staffer needed medical attention and was carted off after a scary collision on the sideline.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  This will ease some of the tension in the Deep South.  Alabama got revenge on No. 16 Vanderbilt, 30-14.

What is with these terrifying injuries?  No. 5 Oklahoma’s Keontez Lewis hit his head on a brick wall behind an end zone and exited the game on a cart.  Updates to come.

Oklahoma beat Kent State, 44-0.

Holy crap!  No. 7 Penn State, a 25.5-point favorite, suffered a shocking upset, 42-37, to UCLA.  The Bruins’ Nico Iamaleava rushed for 128 yards and three touchdowns and threw two touchdowns.

I do not want to speak ill of the dead, just to report the news.  Police said ex-LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacey’s “reckless operation” of a car caused the fatal crash in 2024 after the investigation was questioned.
