This game was the embodiment of March.  There were three lead changes in the final 14 seconds as No. 4 Dayton upset No. 1 Saint Louis, 70-69, with a last-second tip-in to cap a chaotic bid thievery.  The Flyers advanced to play VCU on Sunday in Pittsburgh.

UPDATE 1:  Here are the favorites for the tournament.  The men’s No. 1 seeds are 32-2 Duke in the East Region, 32-2 Arizona in the West Region, 31-3 Michigan in the Midwest Region and 26-7 Florida in the South Region.  The Blue Devils will play Siena on Thursday in Greenville, S.C.  The Wildcats will play LIU on Friday in San Diego.  The Wolverines will play on Thursday in Buffalo, N.Y., against the winner between Howard and UMBC, who play each other on Tuesday in Dayton, Ohio.  The Gators will play on Friday in Tampa, Fla., against the winner between Lehigh and Prairie View A&M, who play each other on Wednesday in Dayton, Ohio.  This comes as the No. 1 Wolverines were upset by No. 7 Purdue, 80-72.

You stupid idiot!  Alabama star guard Aden Holloway was arrested on a felony drug charge four days before the first game of the NCAA tournament.

UPDATE:  Way to ruin your career.  Holloway was removed from campus in the wake of his arrest and will not be with Alabama.

No. 4 Nebraska beat No. 13 Troy, 76-47, to advance to play on Saturday in Oklahoma City against No. 5 Vanderbilt, who beat No. 12 McNeese, 78-68.

UPDATE:  Lord, let this happen!  No. 1 Duke is trailing No. 16 Siena, 43-32, at halftime.

UPDATE 2:  Just hold on a little more!  Siena leads Duke, 61-60, with 6:15 left in the first round.

Duke beat Siena, 71-65, to advance to play TCU on Saturday in Greenville, S.C.

No. 6 Louisville beat No. 11 South Florida, 83-79, to advance to play on Saturday in Buffalo, N.Y., against No. 3 Michigan State, who beat No. 14 North Dakota State, 92-67.
No. 12 High Point upset No. 5 Wisconsin, 83-82, to advance to play on Saturday in Portland, Ore., against No. 4 Arkansas, who beat No. 13 Hawaii, 97-78.

UPDATE 3:  How could you not love this time of the year?  No. 11 VCU’s Terrence Hill Jr. hit a go-ahead three in overtime to seal the Rams’ wild comeback upset over No. 6 North Carolina, 82-78.  The Rams advanced to play on Saturday in Greenville, S.C., against No. 3 Illinois, who beat No. 14 Penn, 105-70.

No. 1 Michigan beat No. 16 Howard, 101-80, to advance to play on Saturday in Buffalo, N.Y., against No. 9 Saint Louis, who upset No. 8 Georgia, 102-77.

I love March!  The final seconds of No. 10 Santa Clara vs. No. 7 Kentucky was unbelievable, including the Wildcats’ Otega Oweh’s miracle three in an 89-84 overtime win.  The Wildcats advanced to play Iowa State on Sunday in St. Louis.

Every year, we see a double-digit seed get into the Sweet 16.  No. 11 Texas upset No. 3 Gonzaga, 74-68, in the second round of the men’s NCAA tournament.

What a thriller today in San Diego!  No. 5 St. John’s buried the winning layup at the buzzer against No. 4 Kansas in a 67-65 upset as the Red Storm advanced to the men’s Sweet 16 for the first time since 1999, where they will play Duke on Friday in Washington.

This tournament keeps providing us with excitement.  Alvaro Folgueiras nailed the winning three as No. 9 Iowa upset No. 1 Florida, 73-72, to advance to the men’s Sweet 16 for the first time since 1999, where they will play Big Ten rival Nebraska on Thursday in Houston.

We have another close game.  No. 11 Texas and No. 2 Purdue are tied, 70-70, with 3:56 left.  Updates to come.

UPDATE:  This tournament continues to deliver.  Trey Kaufman-Renn’s tip-in with less than a second remaining lifted Purdue to a 79-77 win over Texas.  The Boilermakers advanced to play Arizona on Saturday in San Jose, Calif.

We are being spoiled with exciting finishes.  No. 2 UConn leads No. 3 Michigan State, 58-55, with 3:05 left.  Updates to come.

That’s one.  Keaton Wagler scored 25 points as No. 3 Illinois beat Big Ten rival No. 9 Iowa, 71-59, for their first Final Four appearance since 2005.

That’s two.  No. 1 Arizona rode a big second half to beat No. 2 Purdue, 79-64, for their first Final Four berth since 2001.

And that’s four.  Braylon Mullins just hit one of the greatest shots in NCAA Tournament history to complete an unbelievable comeback as No. 2 UConn upset No. 1 Duke, 73-72.  The Huskies trailed by as many as 19 before Mullins broke the Blue Devils’ hearts with an all-time shot and I can’t stop watching it.  The Huskies advanced to play Illinois on Saturday in Indianapolis.
